| Contract,
Tort and Criminal were very good. Clear, precise and dealt
with the issues at hand while providing good slides and notes
from which I could expand with my own notes. Structures are
very important to those studying the GDL and these lectures
provided clarity with respect to the structures,
Oliver Lock, GDL, College of Law (2012) |

| Thank
you for the QED Land Law and Tort sessions yesterday - they
were brilliant. I will definitely be recommending QED Law
and hope to see you soon. Aysh Choudury,
LLB, SOAS (2012) |
| I
was really pleased with the Public Law seminar yesterday afternoon,
I found the lecturer to be an amazing teacher. And when I
read my notes on the train on the way home I was very pleased.
I do hope you pass on this feedback to him as I was very grateful!
Lydia Ferris, LLB, University of Bristol
(2012) |
| I
found the Trusts seminar incredibly helpful. Ramjohn was a
very well prepared clear speaker and the materials we got
by email are very good. I will certainly keep recommending
the revision seminars. Thanks so much for organising them!
Claudette Hulsman, LLB, Birkbeck College,
University of London (2012) |
| I
found all 3 seminars (Contract, Land and Criminal) incredibly
helpful. They really helped me prepare for my exams and I
felt a lot more confident about how to tackle each subject.
Ranjeeta Matharu, GDL, BPP Law School
(2012) |
| Trusts
was great as I finally understood what the examiners are looking
for. I have always made the mistake at taking problem questions
at their face value, only ever scratching the surface of what
was asked of me. Thank you very much for the great courses.
I will definitely recommend them.
Helena McKenzie, LLB with European Law, University of Exeter
(2012) |
| Thanks
again for the very helpful revision sessions in Contract,
Tort, Land and Trusts. The sessions were extremely helpful
and well delivered and helped to consolidate and refresh my
understanding of each of the core subject areas in readiness
for my exams - I just wish I had known about them last year!
Robin Canning, LLB, Open University
(2012) |
| The
Jurisprudence seminar was very clear, well presented and easy
to follow. Emily Smith, LLB, University
of London International Programmes (2012) |
| The
Land law seminar was excellent and would recommend to anyone
struggling to understand Land. It makes much more sense now.
I now feel I’ve a clear structure to answer Land questions.
Sandra Forbes, GDL p/t, College of Law
(2012) |
| I
have found it somewhat difficult to get to grips with EU Law
over the year, and I really felt that the seminar helped.
The lecturer was very clear and I liked the way that, after
each individual topic was covered, we were shown how to apply
it to a question. This helped me understand how to piece all
the material together and shape it into a coherent answer.
TG, LLB, University of Nottingham (2012) |
| Tort
- outstanding; very clearly focused examination advice and
a thorough grasp of the the subject matter; pitched perfectly.
Criminal - excellent; extremely useful exam-focused and with
a fascinating treatment of partial defences. Trusts - excellent;
analytical, reasoned, measured, thorough. Con & Ad - pretty
good; useful. Contract - very helpful; solid, competent exposition
of the material. Joshua Shotton, GDL,
City University (2012). |
| The
EU seminar was extremely thorough. The lecturer carefully
guided us through the topics. The approach to answering the
questions was very well structured. The seminar was perfect
as it helped us tremendously to consolidate what we had learnt
over the year. And I absolutely enjoyed the Jurisprudence
seminar. The lecturer was brilliant in clearing up misconceptions
and effectively presented the theories and related them to
the 21st Century. This session was hugely beneficial and definitely
helped with my preparation for the examination. Wendy
Prince, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) (2012) |
| The
review seminar on Criminal Law left me feeling confident.
The lecturer provided us with a strategy in approaching problem
questions which has already proven very helpful in my revision.
He clearly knew the material inside and out, and his ability
to review the material efficiently in 4.5 short hours made
the session most worthwhile!
LS, LLB, City University (2012) |
| The
QED revision seminar in Land Law this weekend was an excellent
experience. The lecturer showed a thorough command of the
subject and made it come alive. It is a very complex subject
and certainly because of its vast nature would make it difficult
to have complete coverage in 5 hours yet he was able to do
so in a good manner. The course was well worth the monetary
investment and the investment in time. Keep up the excellent
work and all the best for the future. Lloyd
Wheatley, LLB, University of Leicester (2012) |
| I
found the revision day extremely helpful and it certainly
gave me more confidence especially with regard to tackling
difficult exam questions! Katherine
King, LLB, University of Exeter (2012) |
| I
am very glad I attended! I thoroughly enjoyed the Public Law
revision seminar. It was informative and relevant. Thank you
for arranging the revision sessions. Alia
De Belotte, LLB, Greenwich (2012) |
| The
Contract revision seminar was really good. The topics were
explained in such a way that I felt more confident to revise
rather than having no idea where to start. Sarah
Craig, LLB, University of Essex (2012) |
| The
Tort lecturer did an amazing job, she clearly knew her stuff.
I found it extremely useful and it complemented by revision
perfectly. HB, GDL, BPP Law School (2012) |
| I
thought the Land Law lecturer was brilliant. He didn’t
try and teach us from scratch, but did teach us a very very
good revision lecture. It has really helped to clarify things
in my mind. Elinor Hampson-Jones, GDL,
College of Law (2012) |
| I
thoroughly enjoyed the Criminal Law seminar and found it very
useful. It covered all the areas incorporated in BPP's syllabus
and highlighted many points that may have been lost in the
informational matrix of the GDL. I particularly liked your
tables, diagrams, and the way you provided a systematic and
clear strategy as to how to revise and tackle answers. JC,
GDL, BPP (2012) |
|
The Tort session had really good practical tips on how to
approach revision when you only have limited time available.
Duncan
McLaggan, GDL, College of Law (2012) |
| The
Trusts lecture yesterday was brilliant. It was a great revision
session that brought things to the front of my mind ready
for my exam. I think these lectures that you do are a great
concept and I look forward to seeing you next year for Land.
David Ward, LLB, University of Buckingham
(2012) |
| I
would like to say a big thank you for the EU revision session
on Sunday. The session was well organised; easy to follow
and covered both key issues and how to structure answers which
was brilliant. I left feeling much better prepared for my
examination in May. The Tort seminar was informative with
a variety of essay and problem based questions covered and
was delivered in a clear and easy to follow format. And the
Criminal Law seminar was a very effective use of the time
with detailed supporting material provided. I would definitely
recommend QED Law. Ashlea
Smart, LLB, Middlesex University (2012) |
| The
Trusts seminar was very good. The lecturer was extremely professional,
knowledgable and able to answer all questions to my satisfaction.
The seminar was delivered in a very clear and structured way
so that it was easy to follow, yet was still intellectually
stimulating, raising very interesting and controversial issues
that not only help you better understand the topic at hand,
but will also impress any exam marker. Azra
Karup, International Law LLB, Kingston University (2012)
|
| I
found the seminars in Contract and Tort to be very helpful!!
I wish Leicester had them so I didn't have to travel to London.
I am certain students would find them useful and would attend!
Vaneet Dhaliwal, LLB, University of Leicester (2012) |
| Thank
you very much for an incredibly helpful Criminal Law seminar
this afternoon. LS,
LLB, City University (2012) |
| I
think your seminars are good value for money! The Trusts seminar
was apithy, quick, and direct exposition of Equity and Trusts.
Trevor Oakley (2012) |
| The
session on Trusts was just brilliant. It really clarified
things I had misunderstood and gave me ideas on exam technique.
Tapina Svinurai, LLB, Open University
(2012) |
| The
QED Law review seminars in Tort and Contract were extremely
helpful in helping me prepare for the exam. Given the amount
of material for each module, efficient revision can become
overwhelming. The seminars helped me to narrow my focus on
how to prepare the material in order to answer the examination
questions and study efficiently. I feel more clear-minded
when studying the material now and I have a solid understanding
of concepts which were previously confusing. The seminars
were taught in an organized way and all the instructors were
excellent in presentation and in knowledge. The material was
communicated in a way that was easy to follow and understandable.
I would definitely recommend these for anyone struggling with
the material, or who is already doing well and was to excel
further. Sylvia Awad, LLB, University
of Leicester (2012) |
| I
was very satisfied with the Contract, Land Law and Criminal
Law revision seminars. I found the structure to be very good
and logical, making the information much easier to digest,
understand and retain than I had previously found when studying.
I also found the notes and powerpoint slides that were provided
to be thorough and applicable. I have since found that I am
finding evision less stressful and easier.
Charlotte Storer, LLB, University of Essex (2012) |
| The
Trusts lecture yesterday was brilliant. It was a great revision
session that brought things to the front of my mind ready
for my exam. I think these lectures that you do are a great
concept and I look forward to seeing you in my final 4th year
next year for Land. David
Ward, LLB, University of Buckingham (2012) |
| Both
seminars - Tort andf Contract - were really helpful.
Alexander Brodyagin, GDL, Nottingham Trent University (2012) |
| It
was worth coming all the way from the Netherlands to do the
revision course and it's good value for money. The Criminal
Law seminar was outstanding !! Very clear. And CLRI was also
very good & clear. Alexandra Ip,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (External)
(2012) |
| The
QED Law review is simply money well spent! Like a live Q&A
book - it's a must do. Dr Abiola Coker,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (External)
(2012) |
I
was so glad that I attended these seminars. The presentations
were clear and organized. The material presented connected
all the missing elements. You might think that you know
it all by reading your notes and textbook but its not until
you attend these seminars, you get the information connected.
Criminal law - This seminar provided a solid review with
great ease. It seems like Mr. Baird knew exactly the points
that students are confused about. I got all my confusion
cleared and my questions answered. Not only that, he provided
information to structure the answer in exams. Just reading
the notes and memorizing concepts is of no use until you
can put in an organized and structure manner for examiner
to read. Mr. Baird will tell you exactly what you need.
trust me! It's worth every penny.
Public law - This seminar was great as well. The instructor
was approachable and kind. I am definitely attending next
year QED seminars. Ambreen Fatima, LLB,
University of London International Programmes (External) (2012) |
| Booking
the QED Law Tort seminar was the best decision I could have
made, as I finally got the tools to write a clear structured
answer to a problem question which I have been looking for.
The teaching was delivered in a very positive understandable
manner and I was able to ask anything that was unclear. Claudette
Hulsman, LLB, Birkbeck College London, (2011) |
I
thought the Criminal Law session was extremely useful, it
was detailed whilst covering all the basics, and the teaching
was second to none. In particular the defences diagram was
fantastic. I had never looked at intoxication in that way
and now it makes perfect sense. I felt the most useful thing
about the session was the links made between the knowledge
and the exam questions, particularly the tips to help achieve
top grades.
I also attended the Contract Law session in the morning which
I felt was equally well designed and extremely informative.
The lecturer was excellent, and her extensive experience of
marking exam papers was clear; she offered many insightful
tips on achieving the highest marks. The practice questions
were all covered in great detail and I feel much more confident
about the exam. The revision notes provided were a particularly
useful aid for revision, as they offer a range of key definitions
and cases.
Overall I have found the courses informative, engaging and
relevant. I will definitely be recommending the courses to
other students at my university, and hope to return next year
for the Land and Equity sessions.Thank you so much for running
such brilliant courses and at such a reasonable price, I am
really pleased with the whole experience. Charlotte
Pidgeon, LLB, Staffordshire University (2011) |
| Contract
Law was great, very helpful as the lecturer took us through
a list of exam-style questions which look at different topics.
As for the contract notes: they were really good, they had
key cases and statutes as well as some academic critiques.
All in all, the revision session for contract contributed
to my understanding of how to approach an exam question and
what examiners are looking for in terms of structure, style
and knowledge. Nancy Al-Sultani, LLB,
City University (2011) |
| I
found the Land Law seminar very good. It went over the areas
that I needed most help with. It has been a good start to
my revision for the exams. The
Trusts lecturer was excellent and covered a lot of detail
and made sure everyone was keeping up with him. Analise
Rodgers-Callan, LLB, University of Brighton (2011) |
| The
Tort and Contract lecturers were absolutely amazing. Really
organised, clear and to the point. Thank you so much. I enjoyed
their revision classes immensely and would recommend to fellow
BPP students. Rani Bassi, GDL, BPP Law
School (2010) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar was especially useful as a solid review
when the individual has come to the final stages of their
exam revision.I found the seminar particularly valuable because
I had been struggling to apply the typical 'Identify the issues,
state the law, apply the law and conclude' approach to Criminal
Law problem questions. The session helped reinforce a much
more coherent and logical structure to approaching the offences
and defences and I feel more confident about the exam. Many
thanks for an insightful afternoon. Jonathan
Iyer, LLB, King's College London (2011) |
| The
QED Law lectures I attended gave an excellent overview of
the key topics and were a useful revision aid. I would recommend
them to anyone. Richard Hanstock, LLB,
LSE (2010) |
| Trusts
was fantastic and Mr. Ramjohn was brilliant in clarifying
topics that weren't too clear before. Thanks a lot. Yogendra
Appadoo, LLB, University of Northumbria (2011). |
The
EU seminar clarified the difficult concepts for me and gave
me more confidence for my exam, i have since stopped panicking!
I liked the structure of the seminar as it helped me to understand
how exactly to answer exam questions and what examiners would
be looking for.
The Land Seminar was very useful, as it gave a clear structure
as to how to tackle any possible question in an exam. This
seminar also clarified many points for me and helped me to
fully understand the overlap between the topics and how land
law all fits together. I have also stopped panicking for this
exam! Rachel Bailey, LLB, University
of Leeds (2011) |
| Jurisprudence:
I think I learnt more from Dr Marshall this morning than I
learnt in the whole of the autumn term. I was getting very
worried indeed about the exam. Dr Marshall was excellent.
I am much more confident now. Roy Clark,
LLB, University of Essex (2011) |
| The
Public Law seminar teacher was excellent. I have already recommended
the seminars to other GDL students at Westminster. Sophie
Cole, GDL, University of Westminster (2011) |
| The
EU lecture was fantastic. The lecturer was very clear and
gave some very interesting asides and opinions which I was
able to recall in the exam. I found his structure easy to
follow and that looking at particular areas in depth enabled
me to gain a better understanding. I certainly would credit
that lecture with the confidence that I felt when I turned
the question paper over. Nicci Hilson,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (External) |
| I
found the Land Law seminar very good - most of the topics
were covered at a good pace and the materials provided were
also very useful to follow the seminar. The lecturer was very
good at drawing all the different interests together and simplifying
them. It definitely boosted my confidence with the subject
overall. Dayna Burville, GDL, College
of Law
(2011) |
| I
found the Contract seminar excellent. We got through an amazing
amount of material and were taught how to structure problem
questions in a very logical manner. I was very impressed with
the detail the material was covered in, while still managing
to provide a lot of guidance on exam technique. LM,
LLB, University of Durham (2011) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar was so helpful - especially the offences
against person, and the diagram for these offences. More importantly,
comments that you made about the way examiners prepare questions
- now, everything makes sense. Many thanks Cancan
Oz, LLB, Queen Mary University of London, (2011) |
| Thank
you for the amazing revision seminars. I attended Land Law,
Tort Law and EU Law and they were all superb, I couldn't be
more pleased. The lecturers were clear and insightful. The
seminars and the excellent material provided have already
provided me with a great tool to start my revision, and this
has made me feel more confident for my exams" Francesca
Carrington Birch, LLB, University of Kent (2011) |
| I
highly recommend anyone preparing for the Tort exam to attend
the QED session - it is worth every penny. Warda
Muzahim, LLB, City University (2011) |
| The
Contract and Criminal seminars were brilliant!! Really helped
me to understand how to approach tackling the exam questions.
Not half as worried about the exams as I was and the notes
are a perfect revision check list! Only wish I'd booked and
done the Public Seminar too! Thanks very much for all your
help. Samantha Moore, LLB, University
of Bedfordshire (2011) |
| The
EU seminar on Saturday was very useful and has definitely
put me on the right road to revision. And Tracey's Law of
Tort revision seminar was excellent. She kept it interesting
and relevant whilst making clear the cases and issues that
need to be considered for every type of problem. Susan
Clark, LLB, University of Surrey (2011) |
| The
Tort revision seminar was a great help. I think I am not the
only one of the participants who would like to express their
sincere gratitude towards the lecturer. It's fair to say that
she was excellent - very effective in going through all the
topics and giving us a clear, coherent approach to all the
possible problems arising. So a big thank you again. I would
most certainly recommend it to other students. Regardless
of the level of preparation to date, this seminar will help
structure your revision and one could easily adapt the notes
and answers to your universities demands. IN,
LLB, University of Essex (2011) |
| The
Public Law seminar was very well presented and the notes that
I made and those that were sent to me are invaluable. I'm
sure that the seminar would appeal to OU students.Tim
Sparrow, LLB, Open University (2011) |
| The
Jurisprudence seminar was very good! I really liked the lecturer's
teaching style and how she structured things. And I found EU
very useful. Great structure and content
Kyle Tansey LLB, University of London International Programmes
(2011) |
| The
Tort lecturer was excellent CB, GDL,
College of Law (2011) |
Law
of Tort: I thought that the seminar was excellent. It was
exactly what I needed for last minute revision. Until now
professors have been describing how we should answer the exam
questions but Tracey was the first one to actually show us
how to do it. She is a highly competent professor and I would
definitely recommend the seminar to anyone who is studying
tort.
Law of Trusts: I liked the seminar because we covered a lot
of material and the explanations were great. The professor
gave us some useful exam tips. It was certainly worth the
trip to London. Anita Orav,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (2011) |
| Both
the Tort and Trusts seminars were marvellous. The lecturers
were fantastic because they delivered the material in a clear
fashion that was not jargon filled. Also their speaking pace
was appropriate. As well the actual written material, which
I have dipped into, was very instructive and I thank you for
sending on even more for me to look at. I have already recommended
the seminars to many friends of mine and will continue to.
Exams are stressful and we need all the help we can get so
I for one feel better armed now to write them. Thank you and
all your team for giving me more confidence. Leslie
Perry, LLB, Queen Mary University of London (2011) |
| I
found the Land Law and Law of Trusts seminars very interesting
and this is why I will book again soon for other seminars.
With regards to Trust more particularly, I appreciated the
clarity of the delivery. The speech was flowing in an organised
manner. I could read the "legal brain". What I appreciated
most, is that the tutor delivered the course through the sample
questions: this helped me connect with my exams and actually
visualise myself passing the exams, and also limit the apprehension.
Although the seminars were intense, I enjoyed them thoroughly.
My weekend was a productive one. I am glad that QED law exists.
Zahra Hrifa, GDL, College of Law (2011) |
| Thanks
so much for an absolutely amazing afternoon of “Criminal
Law Revision”. I found it very clear and informative
and it structured my thinking. I
also found the revision courses on Contract and CLIR extremely
helpful. The lecturers were clear, helped focus on the essential
issues and clarified a lot about examiners expectations.
I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Morris
Hazan, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(2011) |
| The
Criminal Law revision seminar was very useful for consolidation
and to help me structure my revision. Dayna
Burville, GDL, College of Law
(2011) |
| The
Trust and Land Law seminars were great, I would definitely
recommend them. Anon, QLTT, College
of Law (2011) |
| The
Evidence seminar was very relevant to my course and was taught
in a way which was easy to understand. Chloe
Phillips, LLB, University of Kent (2011) |
| I
found the Tort revision seminar very helpful.. I'm sure the
lecturer's advice will prove to be invaluable. She
kept me engaged with the topics and
I feel confident about my law of torts exam as a result. I
am very grateful. I would recommend the seminars and will
return next year. Rosie McHugh, LLB,
University of Exeter (2011) |
| I
think the courses you provide are excellent value for money
and an integral part of revision strategy. I have happily
recommended the courses to a number of students over the years.
Nicci Hilson, LLB, University of London
International Programmes (External) (2011) |
| I
really enjoyed the Law of Contract seminar. It has certainly
made me more confident when approaching exam questions. I'm
now looking at past exam questions in a different light as
it's easier to spot the issues being raised and how to approach
them. Paul Dale, LLB, University of
London (IP) (2011) |
| I
really found yesterdays Criminal Law seminar useful. I particularly
found the lecture slides and accompanying notes very informative.
It was also good to get a different perspective on the way
you approach criminal law teaching, which I really liked.
Furthermore I feel I have a better understanding of approaching
a problem question and general structure, which I was having
issues with. In my feedback from assignments, the issue of
structure had been flagged up the most. With regards to Contract,
I really enjoyed Anne's lecture. She was very clear and concise
and gave good guidance in how to approach a contract problem
question. The notes and lecture slides are informative and
easy to follow. GL, Law LLB, University
College London (UCL) (2011) |
| I
attended both the Tort and Trust classes and found both of
them very helpful in consolidating the course material. As
an independent learning student who does not have the benefit
of attending tutorials at an institution throughout the year,
the approach used of applying the material to specific questions
was particularly helpful. The Trust session in particular
helped to clarify the application of some of the more difficult
case law in the subject. I would definitely recommend the
revision classes to others. Faith Graham,
LLB, University
of London International Programmes (2011) |
| The
Criminal Law revision exceeded my expectations. You were
clear in your delivery and demonstrated that you are extremely
experienced in the field of criminal law. Your demonstrations
on various aspects of the law engaged the audience. Gareth
Williams, LLB, Birbeck College, University of London (2011) |
Land
Law: The tutor, was engaging, and turned what I thought was
an uninteresting subject into really informative sessions,
and the materials produced as part of the session, especially
the Revision table he gave were really useful. If he was teaching
Land Law at my establishment, I would have enjoyed it immensely.
He made the learning very relevant and I will certainly go
away and apply what I have learnt. I will certainly recommend
the course to other friends of mine, particularly those who,
like me, struggled with Land law.
Criminal Law: I really thought the Criminal Law session was
absolutely brilliant! It explained the concepts of law in
such a user friendly way that was easier to understand to
what I am currently getting on my course. I was very inspired!
I could not help thinking that if my sessions had been of
this quality on the GDL, I would have enjoyed enjoyed the
modules far better than I did. The course materials produced
and the class notes were of a really high standard. I will
be more than happy to recommend the course to other students.
Tort: Tracy Aquino is another superb lecturer. I was totally
engaged by her style of teaching, It made Tort law a lot more
palatable and interesting . No student question was too trivial.
The materials produced and her willingness to be contacted
by email was just fabulous service. She certainly inspired
us to want to learn more, and to approach Tort with more confidence.
Great session, the time went really quickly. I was amazed
that so much could be packed into so little time!
I would like to commend both you and your excellent team of
tutors. I have learnt so much in such a short space of time.
Angela Willis, GDL, University of Birmingham
(2010) |
| I
thought the Criminal Law session was brilliant; if BPP had
taught all year the way you did, I would not have been as
worried about the exam as I was before the seminar. I appreciated
the way you used a range of approaches to demonstrate your
points. I also very much appreciated the emphasis you put
on answering problem questions. My only regret was not finding
out about QED Law sooner. Matt Green,
GDL, BPP Law School (2009) |
| I
really appreciate that I had opportunity to attend the Tort,
Trusts and Land seminars. They were all brilliant and dealt
with the key issues that students struggle with. The timing
is absolutely perfect as well as they increase the level of
confidence we need right before the exams. I have recommended
the QED revision seminars and will continue to do so. Wendy
Prince, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) |
| The
Tort seminar was excellent and the lecturer was very helpful.
Farhan Hasan, LLB, University of Essex
(2011) |
| I
found the Law of Contract seminar very helpful. I learned
a lot especially about how to approach questions in the exam
and definitely feel more confident now about going into the
exam. Thanks for everything,. Eimear
Whelan, LLB, University
of London International Programmes (2011) |
| I
found the revision courses on Contract and CLRI extremely
helpful. The lecturers were clear, helped focus on the essential
issues and clarified a lot about examiners expectations. I
would not hesitate to recommend them.Morris
Hazan, LLB, University of London International Programme.(2011) |
| I
would like to thank you for the Criminal law seminar. The
materials provided and presentation was brilliant as they
were very clear to follow, and helped me to understand certain
areas of the subject more easily. I would also like to add
that I have found the ‘Q & A Criminal Law’
book written by yourself a valuable tool for revision. I would
definitely recommend others to attend your seminar and purchase
the book. Grace Craus, LLB, University
of London (External)(2011) |
| Really
enjoyed the seminars once again. All three seminars I attended
Contact, EU, and Tort were exceptional. EU now has all fitted
together I now have a far better understanding of the subject.
The lecturers were all very skilled in getting all revision
points clearly across and the revision materials provided
are outstanding. Thank you once again for all your efforts
putting all this together. Fiona De
La Cour, LLB, University of Hull (2011) |
| The
EU revision seminar represented excellent value for money.
I would recommend it. David Ward, LLB,
University of Buckingham (2011) |
| I
found the Land Law seminar to be extremely useful. I was at
the point where I knew the material but didn’t know
how to apply it. So, the revision seminar took what was abstract
and made it understandable and applicable to any form of question
whether it be an essay or a problem. I feel confident that
I can answer any exam question. Thank you for hosting QED
and my thanks to the lecturer, I like his practical approach.
Liz Cuff, LLB, University of London
International Programmes (External) (2010) |
| The
Criminal Law lecture was brilliant and throughly worthwhile.
I took a huge amount of information away and I have a 100%
better understanding of how the principles work and how they
come together. Thanks for a very well spent £60!!! Contract
was also avery good lecture. It really pointed me in the right
direction and has helped me to be more specific in my revision.
Rebecca Graham -Taylor, ILEX (2010) |
| The
Contract and Criminal seminars were very helpful. They both
covered the topics as I had hoped them to be done and I feel
much more confident with questions in those areas. Also the
notes provided for these two seminars were brilliant and have
been a great revision aid. Sam Flood,
LLB, Kings College London (2010) |
The
EU revision session was really helpful. I enjoyed it and feel
it was money well spent. Further it has clarified areas of
confusion and increased the confidence I have about tackling
the exam.
Trusts: I thoroughly enjoyed the Trusts revision session.
It was very useful, it covered key topics and was very pleasing
overall. Consequently, I have acquired a new found love for
the subject and would not hesitate to recommend the Qed Law
revision seminars. Serena Sobotie, LLB,
University of Kent (2010) |
| The
Law of Evidence Seminar was very useful and interesting -
a lot of insight on how to answer exam question. The information
gained shall now be used as part of my revision for the up
and coming finals. Hamza Aswat, LLB,
University of Westminster (2011) |
| I
thoroughly enjoyed the Trusts session and found it very useful.
I liked the lecturer's (M Ramjohn) teaching style. He was
very clear and detailed. The revision notes were very useful
as well as the bullet pointed answers to the questions. Sophia
Joseph, LLB, University of Essex (2010) |
| I
found the Tort seminar useful and enjoyed it very much. I
found the materials provided extremely helpful and I am still
reading through them. I would definitely recommend the revision
seminars to others. Maria Agisilaou,
LLB, City University (2010) |
| I
found the Contract seminar very helpful - an overall good
experience. Ravi Sonigra, LLB, Nottingham
Trent University (2010) |
| I
hadn't actually covered a whole lot of revision myself beforehand
and yet I found both the Trust and Land seminars useful. I
liked the way the seminars were organised, basing each topic
on exam questions and I'm delighted we are provided with extra
materials after the seminars. Kamallah
Ibrahim, LLB, Kings College London (2010) |
| I
would just like to say a big thank you for offering these
revision courses. The Trusts revision seminar helped me
to understand the subject a lot more and I came away with
a more indepth working knowledge for my exams. Sian
Lias, LLB, Swansea University (2010) |
| The
Criminal Law and Equity lectures were incredibly useful. The
slides in Criminal law have proven invaluable in revision
and the Equity lecture made me feel much more comfortable
about a very intimidating subject. Wassim
Al-Adel, GDL, City University (2010) |
| As
expected the revision courses - Land, Tort and Public - were
very helpful. Thanks, Vicky Rebori,

| The
coherent and holistic approach assisted my revision and provided
me with great clarity in Criminal and Tort. Furthermore, the
skills taught to answer examination questions effectively
is what I think every law student should acquire. Therefore
I sincerely recommend this revision. It was definitely worth
every single cent and minute of my time. Winston
Chan, LLB, University of Manchester (2010) |
| Land
Law was extremely helpful. The lecturer set Land Law in context,
His approach was flawlessly methodical and he approached it
from the perspective of someone sitting a Land exam rather
than someone learning the theory of Land Law. Excellent excellent
session. Rajesh Vora, GDL, Nottingham
Law School (2010) |
| Tort

thought the EU revision seminar was HIGHLY useful. The first
question that we tackled was a question that related to the
entire course and we went through a systematic and analytical
answer. I found the content very useful. Nisaa
Jetha, LLB, SOAS (2010) |

Law of Tort: Now that I am doing my revision for my exams,
my appreciation for your lecturer increases by the day. The
notes are concise, brief and comprehensive. The practice questions
are excellent - identical to my examination questions. The
lecture was in perfect pace and Tracey's extensive knowledge
and experience in the subject left me yearning for more when
it ended. Together it is the perfect companion not only as
preparation for examination but also enhanced understanding
of the subject. I would give her a perfect score for her efforts,
teaching and notes. Shannon Chun, LLB,
University of London International Programmes (External) (2010)
|
| The
Contract revision lecture was very ensightful and engaging.
I learnt how to structure my answers and what answers score
high marks. It gave me the confidence and motivation to revise
and answer problem questions in the clearest and most logical
way possible. Yusser Ismail, LLB, City
University (2010) |
| Thank
you for the Criminal Law seminar today. It was extremely helpful.
The notes and slide material provided were very useful and
will add a lot of structure and guidance to my revision. The
EU law seminar last Sunday, again was valuable to my revision.
Also the lecturer was awesome on Sunday in the Trusts seminar.
Overall the two days have been a success and have really helped
me so thank you again! Jamie Ferris,
LLB, London South Bank University (2010) |
| I
recently attended QED revision seminars in Land, Tort, Contract
and Criminal Law. I found all the seminars very helpful. I
am studying for the GDL by distance learning. The course I
am on is excellent, but face-to-face teaching is necessarily
limited. I found it useful at the QED seminars to be able
to examine the major topics in the various areas of law in
one long session. This made it easier to identify underlying
themes across the different elements of each subject and to
get a clear picture of the subject as a whole. The standard
of teaching in the seminars was excellent. Many thanks to
QED for providing the seminars. I shall recommend them to
the otherstudents on my course and I shall be back next year
for the EU, Public and Trusts seminars! Sarah
King, GDL, DMU (2010) |
| i
found the Tort seminar extremely helpful, not least for delivering
the course in a detailed but accessible manner. The extensive
materials provided before and after the seminar were of particular
benefit. Ben Scullion, LLB, University
of Leicester (2010) |
| The
Public Law lecturer was extremely knowledgeable. He had cases,
statements and name of Lordships on the end of his tongue.
That was extremely amazing. The Contract seminar was very
well organised. Brilliant structure, used academic examples
to gain those extra marks in exam. Very effective. Great approach
and excellent delivery. The QED Law Revision Seminars were
well organised, well structured and to the point with knowledgeable
tutors and excellent delivery. Its just amazing how they can
cover so many areas in such a short time. Thanks. I'll be
back next year for sure. Kamran Malik,
LLB, University of Bedfordshire (2010) |
| I
found the courses I attended (Tort, Contract and Public) on
the whole very helpful indeed. Im sure I will be coming back
next year for other courses. Michael,
GDL, College of Law (2010) |
Contract:
I just wanted to send a quick note to say that the Contract
law seminar that I attending on Sunday was brilliant. Anne
is AMAZING. She has so much knowledge and the way she delivered
the seminar was brilliant. I really really enjoyed attending
it and have taken a lot away from it. The powerpoint slides,
the way the questions were answered, the step by step structure
and all the little exam tips were extremely useful. Thank
you for arranging these seminars, you are doing a brilliant
job.
Land
Law: I found the Land Law seminar extremely useful. Land Law
is my least favourite subject on the GDL so I have been very
nervous about this exam. The seminar really helped me to gain
a better understanding of the subject and gave me good insight
into the topical areas required to answer questions in the
exam. The lecturer's method of teaching was very good. He
used a table at the beginning of the seminar which formed
the basis of answering any type of question in a land law
exam - just what i needed to help understand the basic concepts
of land law and give me more confidence for the exam.
Trusts:
I found the Trusts seminar very helpful. The information provided
and the structure of the whole seminar was extremely useful.
I gained a lot of knowledge from the seminar and would recommend
it to any student st udying this subject. The lecturer is
extremely knowledgable and his delivery of the seminar was
very clear and easy to follow and understand.
Tort:
I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Tort seminar. I thought
that Tracey was brilliant. There was lots of information to
take in during this seminar but all the information given
was extremely helpful. I feel much more confident about applying
what I have learnt to exam questions and the seminar has helped
me to do this. Jaimina Savani, GDL,
College of Law (2010) |

| The
Land Revision Seminar was very helpful, I was able to consolidate
my knowledge and apply what I've learnt over the year in a
more structured and focused way. As a result, I feel much
more confident about the forthcoming exam! Kizianne
Roberts, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) (2010) |
| The
Criminal law seminar today was extremely helpful, and well
structured. It has given me the confidence to tackle problem
questions more accurately and to strategically plan my revision.
Whilst I heard good reviews about the seminar last year
from my colleagues, I never realised how helpful the law
seminar was until today. Gemma Gordon,
LLB, City University (2010) |
| The
Land Law tutor was excellent! Geraldine
McGonigle, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
|
The Tort seminar was very good. The lecturer framed the information
in a very accessible, clear way. Her diagrams and explanations
clarified things that have always been murky for me. She also
provided a methodical approach to answering tort problem questions,
which gives me a useful base from which to work on my own
revision. I also liked her method of note-taking during the
seminar, which ensures that the notes we receive correspond
exactly to the seminar. Dale H, GDL,
College of Law (2010) |
| I
have attended the QED Law revision seminars before and was
again very satisfied. The Criminal Law seminar materials were
forwarded ahead of the class and this allowed me to read them
over beforehand,. This enabled me to put the lecture in context.
I would not hesitate to recommend it. Ann-Marie
Pinkney, LLB, University of Westminster (2010) |
| The
Tort seminar leader was very engaging. She brought the contents
across well, and she did so with a much appreciated touch
of humour in all the right places. I am glad I attended the
seminar as I picked up some very usefull techniques. David
McKnight, LLB, University of Kent (2010) |
|
The Land Law seminar was fantastic. I will most definitely
be using the sessions again next year. Charlotte
Gamble, LLB, University of Kent. (2010) |
| The
Land Law session was extremely helpful. The lecturer presented
the information in a logical way and demonstrated a system
for properly addressing any Land Law question. AD,
GDL, City University (2010) |
| The
course was well worth the money. I walked away feeling very
confident and I will definitely recommend the courses to other
students. Astrid Garland, LLB, University
of Kent (2010) |
| Both
Tort and Contract were fantastic. They were very well taught
and I learnt much from them. Covering the course in such a
short period is most useful an really helps to put things
into perspective. I have recommended them to my peers. Alastair
Drummond, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
| The
Land Law seminar was very useful thanks! The tutor made things
clear and covered the right amount of material. I would recommend
it, especially to someone struggling on exam technique or
the structure of Land Law. Abigail Nicholls,
LLB, University of Bristol (2010) |
| I
really enjoyed the Tort Seminar. The tutor was excellent
and gave you exactly want you needed for an exam not what
you think you need. I stumbled upon QED law and took a chance.
The seminars are a great way of getting up to speed with
a subject but more importantly how to tackle it in an exam.
I have enjoyed tham all and have recommended them to others.
Alex Cameron, LLB, Open University
(2010) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar, combined with my revision, was very
helpful indeed. I took the exam on Friday and was surprised
at how much I could remember from the course. Overall I would
rate it as an excellent course. Darren
Wadley, LLB, Nottingham Trent University (2009) |
| With the help of Norman Baird and the QED Revision course I went from a guaranteed fail to a comfortable pass in just five days. All the tutors were polite, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I would reccommend QED to any student at whatever level. Dominic Haywood, GDL, College of Law (2009) |
| The QED seminars were very useful indeed and helped me get a clear understanding of all subjects covered. Eleni Simillidi, LLB, University of Leicester (2009) |
| Norman, my exams went very well thanks to QED. I have been studying the CPE by distance learning for the past 2 years and as I work as well I just never find enough time to do all the reading necessary. Last summer I found the exams quite tough but this year I did so much better and was very well prepared and much calmer and more confident going in thanks to the QED revision sessions. I wish I had known about them for last year. I will definitely pass the word on. Margaret Fitzgerald, GDL, Middlesex University |
The Criminal Law Seminar helped me engage with the subject in a way that made it seem more manageable. The way in which it dealt with the topic whilst getting you to envisage exam answers was good. Having notes separately so you don't have to take notes helps the students engage with the concept on the day, rather than keeping your head in your pad.
The EU lecturer made what seems like a daunting subject much more do-able, and his demeanor and excellent communication skills helped get the messages across. Elliot Tubbs, LLB, University of Sussex. (2009) |
| I thoroughly recommend the QED revision lectures for anyone studying for the LLB and related courses. I am a first year student at Hull University and had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of days. The Criminal Law lecture was very informative and reinforced the knowledge I have learnt in my university lectures. Norman Baird made the lectures fun and memorable. Fiona De La Cour, LLB, University of Hull (2009) |
| Thank you once again for providing this much-needed service. See you next year......! Fizza Kadiwal, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| I
was extremely happy with the QED revision seminar. The
notes were well-structured and clear, and the seminar itself
was extremely useful. I was slightly apprehensive about
spending 60 quid on it before I went, but found it great value
for money! As I say, the notes were good, and the advice on
planning the answer was also good. However, for me,
the thing that really helped was getting an insight into the
way law lecturers'/examiners' minds work” James

| I
found the Land Law revision session extremely useful. Very
focused and well taught. It was very practical and put
a structure on the whole course and how everything related
to each other and gave me confidence to tackle the revision.
I would definitely recommend it. Public was also very useful
and interesting and again helped pull a few things together.
Fran Wild, GDL, College of Law (2009)
|
| The EU lecturer was very effective at sifting out the most important facts and cases from a lot of information. He was very methodical and thorough, and obviously very interested in his subject which was reflected in the high teaching quality. Ingrid Featherstone, GDL, Kingston University (2009) |
| The
Law of Trusts revision seminar this morning was indeed helpful.
Amirh Dennie, LLB, Holborn College (2010)
|
| Both
the Contract and Tort revision sessions were absolutely marvllous
and very helpful. I would strongly recommend them to anyone
wanting either to give some structure and form to the knowledge
they already possess, or wanting help with revision. Andrea
Pocock, GDL City University (2010) |
| The
Trusts revision seminar was great. It really made me think
of my knowledge about each topic in a way more catered to
the exam. The lecturer was very pleasant, thorough and easily
understandable. HH, Graduate Entry LLB,
City University (2010) |
| I
would thoroughly recommend the Land Law revision seminar.
It was really useful in pulling together all the different
areas within the subject. The basic formula provided by the
lecturer will be fundamental in tackling problem questions.
Hutokshi Crouch, LLB, University of
London International Programmes (External) (2010) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar was most informative. The day just flashed
by and was really enjoyable. The Contract seminar was also
very useful and Ann was excellent. I shall definitely be back
next year. Kelly Black, LLB, University
of West London (TVU) (2010) |
| Thanks so much, you gave very good advice on ways to approach Criminal Law exams. Very useful thank you. The notes were very thorough and helpful and good for consolidation. Ingrid Featherstone, GDL, Kingston University (2009) |
| I
attended the Land Law revision lecture today and have to say
it was the most comprehensible 5 hours of law I have ever
sat through. What looked like an impenetrable subject was
broken down into a formula that can be used to answer all
manner of land law question. I am now looking forward to the
exam rather than fearing it! James Heron,
GDL, University of Westminster (2009) |
| Thank you ever so much for the Land Law and EU Law seminars, I found them both extremely useful, and do not think I would be adequately prepared for my exams without them. The Land Law seminar helpfully cleared up confusing principles and concepts putting them in understandable blocks, and the EU seminars covered a lot of relevant materials and cases which will be of great help when I come to do my exams. James Lindley, LLB, University of Exeter (2009) |
| I found the Law of Contract seminar extremely helpful and it fulfilled all that I hoped to gain from the day. It helped me clear up some of the tricky details of this subject which now means I find a lot of it pieces together much better. It was clear and concise and to the specifications of my course. It was helpful to be taught by a different lecturer to my one at Reading. Jessica Connelly, LLB, University of Reading (2009) |
| I attended the Law of Trusts, Tort and Land revision seminars and found them excellent. I would recommend them to every law student as they really give you confidence to tackle the exams. Jennifer Lowe, GDL, Holborn College (2009) |
| I found the Criminal law revision seminar very useful and has provided excellent guidance in approaching topics in this subject for exams. The seminar helps you focus on how to answer questions in a concise, logical, and organised manner. I recommend the QED criminal revision seminar to all law students as it is definitely value for money. Jenny Madalura, LLB, Croydon College (2009) |
| I thought the Criminal law session was really interesting. I liked the lateral approach - it really helped me get a bigger picture of the whole area. In lectures we tend to learn in bitty stages so it just feels like a list. But your session helped me connect the dots. Jessica Arczynski, LLB, Kings College London (2009) |
| The Criminal Law revision materials were amazing; a good reference guide for checking my written work with good advice about tackling problem questions. Joseph Appiah, LLB Law with Business, University of Brighton (2009) |
Contract Law: The professor explained really well how to approach problem questions in general. The notes were sufficiently detailed and have helped with reducing my revision work load by highlighting necessary information.
Criminal Law: I found all the materials provided for this lecture exceptionally good. I especially liked the guidance booklet on how to approach questions in the exam. The criminal notes - just like the contract notes - were extremely helpful because of their simplicity and detail.
Tort Law: Once again the materials provided were good and useful. I enjoyed the lecture as its simplicity made me realise that I would be more than capable of writing a good answer to the considered problem questions. I am confident that I now have embedded in my brain how to approach a problem question on negligence and what issues to raise. Karen Shaw, LLB, University of Hull (2009) |
| I
found the Contract session very beneficial. The lecturer was
well informed & prepared. The lecture was relevant, helpful
& interesting. Katie Bryce, LLB,
University of London (External) (2009) |
| It was a pleasure to attend the Criminal Law seminar. Even though I knew the material, I was not able to grasp the exam technique. After this session, I feel more confident. Karen Butler, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| I found the Land law course very useful, it touched on all important subjects and was a good summary of the examinable topics. Lauren Atkins, LLB, University of Westminster (2009) |
 |

| The Criminal Law seminar was very helpful. It summarized the relevant topics very well and provided an excellent understanding of how everything is tied together. It was a great review of the most important aspects governing Criminal Law. Lauren Atkins, LLB, University of Westminster (2009) |
| I thought the Public Law seminar was brilliant. The professor was great and explained things with good, real life examples. It clarified a lot of points that I couldn't get a full understanding of just by reading the books. Liam Scully, LLB, Open University (2009) |
| I found the revision sessions in the Law of Contract and Public Law to be very good. They brought together my knowledge on the two topics and both tutors were excellent. I hope that there are some revision seminars that we are able to attend next year. Definitely the best money I have spent towards the exams. Thank you so much for arranging these seminars and hope to see you again next year. Lisa Walsh, LLB, University of Huddersfield (2009) |
| Land
was all a blur to me before, however after the revision session
it all became clear. The lecture was fast paced, clear, precise
& well structured. Cramming a whole module into 5 hours
is not an easy task however the lecturer did a great job.
I feel much more confident about sitting the exam now than
I did before. Well worth it and would highly recommend this
session. Mandy Jutla, GDL, University
of Birmingham (2009) |
| Contract
was great - well structured and disciplined. Scenario, legal
terminology, followed by case authority. The lecturer was
able to cover all of the salient pointsin depth, discuss exam
technique and summarise, all within the time constraint. I
feel very confident sitting the contract exam. Mandy
Jutla, GDL, University of Birmingham (2009) |
| I thought the way the QED days tackled the topics was very worthwhile; Crime, Land Law and Tort in particular. Thanks for again for a very informative and worthwhile set of revision weekends over the last two weeks. Matt Green, GDL, BPP Law School (2009) |
| Thanks again for the support. The revision tutorials were very useful, particularly the Tort one with Tracey. All the best, Miles Turner, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| I found the Criminal Law session very useful. It focused on application, which is certainly one of my weaknesses at the moment. Thank you once again. It really was a beneficial session. MG, LLB, University of Birmingham (2009) |
| On the whole I have found the seminars (Contract, Crime, Public and Tort) good value for money. My experience was that all of the lecturers were more than happy to stay after the lecture to answer any further questions. I intend on returning next year. MG, LLB, University of Birmingham (2009) |
| I found the Contract and Crime seminars to be highly informative and a great way to consolidate everything. The exams feel a lot less daunting now. NA, GDL, BPP (2009) |
| The Contract and Criminal Law revision seminars were very good and covered a wide range of issues. The logically structured approach helped me understand different issues in problem solving questions and was clear and precise to the point. Nathan Ramanathan, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
Saturday's Criminal law seminar was very useful. I now feel much more confident about what I need to know and how to tackle a problem question in the exam. Sarah Davis, LLB, Oxford Brookes (2008) |
I found the Land Law Seminar an enormous help in consolidating my revision. The lecturer gave us a great structure for answering any sort of question. Rupali Gill, GDL, College of Law (2008) |
I found all 5 of the QED seminars which I attended to be well worth the time and money. It was also most useful to have answers and other handouts sent after the seminars. Anne Taylor, GDL, City University (2008) |
Please let me thank you for yesterday's Tort and Contract lectures. I had very high expectations but I must say that my expectations were far exceeded.but I must say that my expectations were far exceeded. I noticed that all students were transfixed during the Tort lecture. Tracy Aquino's schematic approach is nothing short of brilliant. I came out of these lectures feeling completely re-energised. I really appreciate your efforts. Stephen Lewis, LLB, Open University.(2007)
|
I managed a respectable 60% in my Land Law paper and have passed the GDL with Commendation. The revision seminar was certainly worth attending (indeed, having seen my marks, I wish I'd attended the Criminal Law one as well!). I signed up for the revision course because I was not confident about passing an exam in the subject. Where the revision course helped is in putting Land Law itself into context and in seeing how it all fits together. Afterwards I felt I knew more about the subject as a whole than I had done before, and that made me more confident going into the exam. Mark Harris, GDL, London South Bank University (2008)

The Tort lecturer was absolutely marvellous.! Concise, straight to the point and more than I expected! Aurore Profumo, LLB, University of London (External) (2008) |
I found the criminal law lecture most valuable and certainly worth the experience. Was also refreshing to meet students from various other universities and chat through the issues with them. I found all 5 of the QED seminars which I attended to be well worth the time and money. It was also most useful to have answers and other additional handouts sent after the seminars. Anne Taylor, GDL, City University (2008) |
I found the Criminal Law seminar very useful and have recommended it to someone for next year. I thought the combination of materials, seminar and answers worked well. One of the things that I have found most difficult in criminal law is the amount of detail and the seminar helped to prioritise it and sort it into more manageable blocks. Jacqueline Gartland, LLB, University of London (External) (2008)
|
I found the seminars extremely interesting, particularly in separating the wood from the trees. Many thanks. Annie Simpson, GDL, UWE, (2008) |

fantastic and I was particularly impressed with Tracey who
took the Tort sesssion. I will be back next year for my
next two course components. Victoria
Leek, LLB, Open University |
"The Land seminar was excellent. Very well structured and thorough. Contract was also excellent. I left feeling I had a very good overview of the syllabus and how to go about tackling my revision. Josephine Nonyelu, GDL |

| The
sessions were excellent! Thank you for organising these for
us Zahra Hrifa, GDL, College of Law (2012) |
| I
just graduated with a First and highly recommend QED Law to
any student looking for excellent revision sessions and brilliant
private tuition. I attended the revision seminars every spring
throughout my degree and found them extremely helpful. The sessions
were clear, well structured and dealt with the most frequently
examined areas of the respective subjects. I found the lecturers
to be very knowledgeable, approachable and keen to help - for
several subjects we were provided with additional materials
as a revision aid. I would encourage any student to book sessions
with the QED Law team. Rachel Akodu, LLB,
University of London International Programmes (External) (2012) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar was the perfect way to begin revision.
It helped clarify a lot of topics and I liked how it was focused
on the most prominent and complex areas. The most valuable information
for me was how to answer problem questions. Applying the law
to a scenario is always the most challenging. Monica
Neacsu, LLB, University of Southampton (2012) |
|
All the seminars were incredibly useful and covered most of
the syllabus at City in great detail. The notes that were given
to us before and after are excellent and a huge help, and included
some material which I think would set my answer apart in an
exam should those topics come up. Also, I picked up a lot of
great techniques to answering questions, especially for Contract
and Tort as I find these topics to be the most difficult. Now
when I look at questions, I find it much easier to pick up on
all the issues that are being asked. I am not afraid of problem
questions and definitely feel a lot more confident for the exams.
Furthermore, I was really impressed by the vast knowledge and
experience of all the tutors and helpful analogies used to make
understanding a lot easier of some difficult topics. I would
definitely recommend the courses to anyone else studying law.
Thank you so much for all your help. Elda
Spahiu, Graduate Entry LLB, City University (2012) |

Law of Trusts: Ramjohn's session was great! He imparted the
knowledge in a very beneficial way that was easy to follow.
The Public Law seminar was excellently delivered. It's my favourite
course so there may be an element of bias but it was nice to
hear someone very knowledgeable in the area make it more interesting
and bring more light to it, especially with the more recent
cases. The Tort seminar was another interesting one. Tracey
was concerned with the need for us to understand the most effective
ways to express our knowledge of the law. I've really appreciated
the teachers from the revision seminars in general, they speak
with authority and enthusiasm which is very encouraging to those
who are new to Law. They are also interested in making sure
that one actually understands the material. Thanks for putting
this together. O.E, GDL, College of Law
(2012) |
| Law
of Trusts: I can't praise Ramjohn highly enough, his enthusiasm
for the subject and his ability to explain things clearly made
the revision seminar really interesting and I think it will
be really helpful for my exam so thank you both very much! Holly
Cullen, LLB, University of Exeter (2012) |
| Never
have I learned so much in such a short space of time - I gained
a real understanding of the topics covered , an impressive number
in the available time, as well as invaluable exam focus. For
the first time I actually feel I know what examiners are looking
for - amazingly, never spelt out before by my course providers.
The latest case briefings were invaluable & the course materials
were of such quality & explanatory in nature that (unusually
for me) I continue to retain the information. Tara
McHale GDL BPP Law School |
| I
attended the Public Law seminar on Sunday. It went really well.
Thank you. I think it cleared so much of the exam content. I
attended the Criminal Law session today and found it also extremely
insightful. It cleared up so much of my syllabus that I didn't
really understand. Angelica May Sumang-Luong,
LLB, Brunel University (2012) |
| The
Land Law revision seminar was excellent in all respects. By
the end of the seminar I was finally able to understand what
examiners look for in Land Law examinations; how all the different
rules fit together within the land law system and how to structure
problems questions in particular areas of Land Law. I could
not ask for something more. In addition, the notes provided
are very useful. Just by going over them again it is possible
to remember most of what was said at the seminar. AP,LLB,
Bristol University (2012) |
| The
Tort seminar was one of the best courses I have ever been on!
Tracey is a superb lecturer, committed, dedicated, caring, conscientious
and very hard working. Uma
Mehta, ILEX, (2012) |
| "I
attended the Revision Courses for Equity & Trusts and Land
Law. I received a First for these subjects and a First overall.
Time and money well spent." Tony
Sheridan, LLB, Open University |
| Thank
you so much for the Criminal Law seminar. I found it very helpful
and thank you again for all the material. I also found the EU
seminar really helpful. It put my mind at ease. Paola
Melo, LLB, University of Leicester (2012) |
| The
Public Law lecturer was a complete expert and displayed real
passion for his subject. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the
seminar. Daniele
Selmi, LLB, Oxford Brookes University (2012) |
| Land
Law: The overall experience was great. Very good advice on exam
techniques. Law of Tort: Undoubtedly one of the best uses of
my £60! Tracy was brilliant beyond imagination. I would
definitely recommend her. I certainly recommend the QED revision
sessions. Qaiser Raja, LLB, University
of Bedfordshire, (2012) |
| The
Tort revision session was very well delivered. The lecturer
emphasised the importance of structure in our approach to problem
questions and showed us exactly the structure we needed to adopt.
She was very generous with her time. This session was extremely
helpful! Harriette
Ollennu GDL, College of Law (2012) |
| All
QED Law courses are well designed and helped me understand each
subject in a more structured way and to put the individual topics
in context. The teaching style is simple and direct, very helpful
to memorise the essential notions. Highly recommended! P.T,
GDL, College of Law (2012) |
| I
found the Contract lecture very helpful. The lecturer broke
things down in a way that was much easier to understand and
managed to hold our attention for the entire duration. Shreyanka
Changaroth, LLB, University of Nottingham (2012) |
| This
is my second year attending QED seminars. I took the EU Law
revision seminar in preparation to get ahead before I begin
my Final year. Denis was exceptional. He made sure to engage
the whole class and ensure clarity throughout the seminar. I
feel like I can begin my E.U module with confidence. I commend
Denis as he stayed later than was scheduled, in an effort to
continue covering each subject with equal depth and quality.
It was thoroughly enjoyable and I owe much to QED. Kieran
Paul, LLB (Law and French) University of Leeds (2012) |
| Thank
you for organising such amazing lecturers for Contract, Tort
and Public. I shall be booking in for next year as I'm doing
GDL part time. Sarah Browning, GDL p/t,
College of Law (2012) |
| The
Contract Law seminar was wonderful and the notes are a lifesaver.
BAR, LLB, City University (2012) |
| Criminal
Law: The revision materials alone make the seminar worthwhile
- they really help to simplify and clarify complex law. I found
the diagrams really useful for visualising and memorising the
offences and defences, and for navigating my way through a written
answer. Issues I had puzzled over all year were cleared up surprisingly
quickly, such as liability regarding involuntary intoxication.
And where mistake can be an issue. Once the little areas of
confusion are dealt with, the whole task of revision and the
exam seems less daunting. The tips on exam technique were much
appreciated! It's useful to have an insider to tell us what
examiners really detest! The main benefit of the session for
me was that it really boosted my confidence. Genevieve
Moss, LLB, SOAS (2012) |
| The
Tort and Contract seminars were very useful. The teachers were
so easy to understand. Jatinder Bhullar,
LLB, University of Leicester (2012). |
| I
found both the Land and Tort seminars very useful and the notes
were easy to follow. Both lecturers were comprehensive in coverage
and maintained attention throughout the five hours, giving lucid
examples of how to apply the law to given facts. I have benefitted
hugely from these sessions. The step-by-step approach made for
clear understanding of topics and how to structure answers.
Anon, LLB, University of Exeter (2012) |
| The
Land Law Revision was Excellent! The tuition was delivered in
a very comprehensive and relevant manner. Thank you for giving
us the opportunity to meet such exceptional lecturers for our
revision. Kareem Sule, LLB, University
of London International Programmes(2012). |
| The
Tort seminar was excellent. I cannot believe Tracy managed to
fit more or less the whole syllabus into less than 5 hours and
also clarified a number of issues that I had, especially in
relation to the law of negligence. I would definitely recommend
it and would give it 10 out of 10. Janet
McDonald, LLB, University
of London International Programmes (External)
(2012) |
| I
found all three of the lectures - Criminal, Land and EU - extremely
useful. The delivery and materials provided for the lectures
were very well prepared. It was well worth the trip to London.
Once again many thanks for the revision weekend. Katherine
Peden, GDL, University of Northumbria (2012) |
| The
QED revision seminars really fleshed out the topics in a way
that brought more meaning and understanding. Janet
Naidu, LLB, University of London International Programmes (2012). |
| The
Tort revision seminar was excellent. Tracy's style was of outstanding
clarity backed by very comprehensive notes. She is the lecturer
that every student wishes to have. The EU revision seminar was
also great. Denis was very enthusiastic about his subject. I
have already recommended both revision seminars to my fellow
student friends. BSL LLB,
Queen Mary University of London (2012) |
| Thank
you for all the help and everyone's time and effort they put
in. It was and is really appreciated. I am very happy with the
experience I have had with QED LAW revision classes.
Claudia Sousa, LLB, University of Exeter (2012) |
| The
Contract seminar was a good solid start to the revision and
helped me decide what to focus on for the exam - very comprehensive
and clear. For me it was useful additional 'face time' to my
distance learning course. Colin T, GDL,
NTU (2012) |
| The
EU seminar was great. I felt more prepared for the exam after
it. Thank you. Hina Ahmed, LLB, City University
(2012) |
| The
Public Law review seminar was extremely helpful. Curtis went
over several common topics and used countless examples of cases
to illustrate his points. He gave several essay strategies and
study tips which have already made a daunting subject like public
law - that much easier. He simplified concepts in 4.5 hours
that I had struggled understanding the entire year (with lectures
and tutorials). I highly recommend this review seminar! Even
for those who have a good grasp on the concept, it was great
to know which topics to spend less time on or greater emphasis
on. I will definitely be returning next year!
LS, LLB, City University (2012) |
| The
2012 QED session I attended for the Law of Trusts was well worth
my money, time and long journey from the Caribbean. Not only
was Professor Ramjohn very clear and helpful, but he manifested
the ability to relate the material in a manner that is bound
to help the student prepare to answer exam questions. This is
by far the most important distinguishing characteristic I found
between the QED session and the ones I attended at University
of Cambridge. Ramjohn's sessions at QED reviewed topics using
exam questions which brought the subject to life practically
and helped me grasp each topic reviewed better. My only regret
- not being able to have more sessions of this kind.
Anesia Baptise, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) (2012) |
| The
Criminal Law revision session was amazing. A whole year was
condensed in an entertaining and thought provoking manner. Showing
us how to tackle problem questions was especially useful, as
I feel I understand what the examiner is actually looking for
now. It was really well organised and in a great location for
easy access via the underground. I would not hesitate to recommend
these sessions and will definitely be using them again next
year!!" Rachel Andrews, LLB, University
of Bedfordshire (2012) |
| The
Contract revision was extremely useful, especially as I study
on my own for the University of London LLB exams. Phevos
Georgiades , LLB, University of London International Programmes

| The
EU Law seminar that I attended was very useful and I will recommend
it to other students. Thank you for your help. Asad
Maqsood, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) (2012) |
| The
Criminal Law seminar was great. I will recommend it to my friends.
Thanks. Xuanlun Cai. MA (Law) University
of Bristol, (2012) |
| The
Tort seminar was very good indeed. It helped to draw a map for
possible way of tackling problem questions. I have also picked
up some useful techniques from Tracey as she repeatedly went
over the structure of different problems. Mr Ramjohn skillfully
packed so huge amount of information into the Trusts seminar
it was a pleasure to follow his lead in revising. He showed
how to "streamline" the approach to problem questions.
Extremely helpful for my revision for the exam. The Criminal
Law seminar helped me to get the material I studied into order
for answering problem questions. As I had some time after the
seminar I changed my revision style based on the structured
approach you showed us which helped me revise more effectively.
The best of all - I felt much more confident in the exam itself.
Thank you very much. Anastasia Egerova,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (External)
(2012) |
| I
am delighted that I attended the Public Law seminar. The tutor
was knowledgeable and provided many exam tips. I would definitely
recommend this seminar to anyone who is struggling in Public
Law. ZL, LLB, (2012) |
| I
just want to let you know that the Criminal Law seminar was
exceptionally helpful and I found it very rewarding. The Contract
law revision was also helpful - a succinct recap of the required
syllabus. It definitely helped put things into structure for
me. Zean Shiung, LLB, Kings College London
(2012) |
| I
was initially very nervous for the Tort exam but after the review
session, I felt confident. Like Norman in Criminal Law, Tracey
had a strategy for each question which she repeatedly reinforced
throughout the seminar. Tracey also gave us helpful study strategies
and her additional materials were priceless.
LS,
LLB, City University (2012) |
| I
thought the seminars were great. The materials were presented
in a clear and coherent fashion by the lecturers and I've been
working with the handouts they provided throughout my revision
these past weeks. It's amazing how much information they manage
to fit in to a session of not even 5 hours, without completely
overloading us! I'll definitely be back next year!
Rachel Akodu, LLB, University of London International Programmes
(External) (2011) |
| The
Tort and Trust seminars were very helpful. I feel a lot more
confident in the approach to the exams having gone to the seminars.
The materials given are so useful giving accurate summaries
that will be easy to learn and base revision around. I cannot
think of anything that could be improved. Many thanks. Briony
Chamberlain, LLB, Kings College London (2011) |
| EU
was very interesting and really helpful as well. I leanrt so
much on the day, Constance Bunting, LLB,
University
of Buckingham (2011) |
| The
Tort seminar was excellent, I learnt far more then I could have
expected in a very short space of time. Furthermore my exam
was the next day, and it helped me feel far more relaxed and
prepared then I would have been otherwise. Sumita
Sengupta, LLB, City University (2011) |
Contract
Seminar - very lively and informative seminar. The tutor was
very approachable, and split the time extremely efficiently,
with a good use of breaks to avoid any tiredness. The content
was brilliant, and what I hoped for. They key topics were covered,
and more importantly it was great to get a better understanding
of examination technique. The key here was rather than teaching
the law, the approach to answering questions related to that
topic of law was addressed, and that was of most benefit. The
use of Powerpoints was great, as was having the material to
hand before the seminar.
Criminal Seminar - very similar to the contract seminar. I found
your style and manner to be extremely engaging and informative.
The diagrammatic representation of liability, for example, was
an excellent way of teaching an area of law that can be very
easy to make mistakes with during an exam. RD,
LLB, Queen Mary University of London (2011) |
| I
found the Contract revision seminar very useful. Going through
the variety of different questions that we might come across
in the exam has made it easier to tackle revision on my own
before the papers in May. Thanks! Krystal
Lee, LLB, University of London International Programmes (2011) |
| Thanks
for a great Criminal Law revision session. I did find it very
useful and would recommend it. David E,
LLB, University of London International Programmes (2011) |
| The
EU Law seminar was very well structured and helpful. It made
clear some of the areas of EU law I was lost in and now it make
sense. I would recommend it to anybody who is studying EU law
and is taking exams. Zdenka Safarova,
LLB, Birkbeck College, University of London (2011)
|
| Tracey's
Law of Tort revision seminar was a most helpful way of revising.
It was very insightful. I recommend it to anyone who wishes
to obtain a first class mark. George Bazinas,
LLB, University of Bristol (2011) |
| Thank
you for organising the Trust seminar. It was very useful. Julia
Atere, BA (Law) University of Cambridge (2011) |
| I
found all 3 of the seminars Iattended useful for revision, particularly
helpful for structuring and specifically answering what's required
from a question, which seems to be half the battle of the exams
and has not really been talked about in the lectures I've had
for Criminal law or Contract law! I'm really glad I attended
the sessions, thank you very much for your time! Lauren
Harley, LLB, University of Bournemouth (2011) |
| Thank
you for the Jurisprudence revision seminar. It was immensely
useful to me. I was able to go over key areas which will help
me with my revision and also learnt about exam technique when
answering questions. The content was really good and the lecturer
clearly had a passion for the subject which made it interesting.
I would recommend it to anyone wishing to get help when preparing
for exams and if QED offered Intellectual Property or Media
Law I would definitely attend! Shruti
Patel, LLB, LSE (2011) |
| I
found the Trusts revision session to be very helpful
Anna Griffiths Johnson, GDL, BPP (2011) |
| Criminal
Law - I liked how you used those flowcharts to convey the various
possibilities in analysing questions. I also liked your emphasis
on how to answer questions.Yogendra Appadoo,
LLB, University of Northumbria (2011) |
| Not
only was the Criminal Law seminar excellent, it was brilliantly
structured and made sense every single minute of the seminar.
The examples given throughout the seminar were very helpful
in understanding certain hard and confusing topics. As a London
external student I found this seminar extremely helpful. A.
Zaini, LLB, University of London International Programmes (2011) |
| I
found both the Trusts and the Land Law sessions very good.
Ann, LLB, Open University (2011)
|
| The
EU Law revision seminar represented excellent value for money,
i would recommend it to anyone. Criminal
Law: I learnt an awful lot from the seminar and please contact
me again if you or any of your colleagues are doing similar
things in the future. I would love to attend. David
Ward, LLB, University of Buckingham (2011) |
| EU
and Tort: The courses were really good. I'm now looking forward
to receiving the additional notes which both lecturers said
would be e-mailed to us. Stacey Bess Russell,
LLB (2011) |
| I
wanted to thank you for the way you presented the Criminal Law
revision and how you explained the topics. Shaheen
Mosquera, ILEX, (2011) |
| The
Criminal Law session was delivered really eloquently and at
a decent pace (balancing depth of content with the number of
issues dealt-with within the timeframe). The Contract session
adopted a very similar format - same depth and amount of subject
matter. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. In terms of content
and delivery, it ran smoothly, and to a standard throughout.
Gerard Lecain, LLB, University
of London International Programmes (2011) |
Tort
was absolutely excellent. Tracey Aquino was really on top of
her game and oozed complete and utter passion and enthusiasm
for her subject. She made the 5 hours fly by and a previously
dry subject felt light and interesting. The fact Tracey had
produced such a quantity of excellent materials in advance of
the session was fantastic. I now feel much more confident about
approaching the tort exam.
EU:
The EU law session conducted by Denis Edwards was fast-paced,
sophisicated and comprehensive. The level of teaching during
the session was e=tremely high as Denis was clearly in his comfort
zone. Denis really pushed the boundaries, making it an extremely
stimulating and challenging 5 hours for all of us. Am feeling
much more confident about undertaking my exam after taking this
revision course.
Criminal Law: A very relaxed, comprehensive and stimulating
session. Did not feel at all heavy and Norman clearly loves
his subject. The use of visual aids to help us learn was excellent
- particularly the use of different colours and flow charts.
A very worthwhile session which will prove invaluable in preparations
for the exam.
Trusts: The trusts law session with Ramjohn was brilliant. He
was authoritative and knowledgable and significantly raised
the level of understanding I had about this subject. The materials
provided were excellent. I have been revising equity all week
since taking his course and have found myself really beginning
to actually enjoy this subject. Ramjohn is an excellent tutor.
Contract:
Very, very, very good. Anne Street's down-to-earth and no-nonsense
approach to teaching us contract law was extremely helpful.
I found it particularly useful that Anne encouraged us to think
of the subject areas through the eyes of an examiner and as
if we were advising a client. The material she provided was
very good and the session was well planned and structured.
Miranda
Grell, GDL, City University (2010)
|
| The
Tort lecturer was really helpful. I think I have finally grasped
how to approach problem questions that I have always struggled
with and other ambiguous points were clarified as well. Mariya
Dimitrova, LLB, King's College London (2011) |
| The
Trusts revision class was excellent. The lecturer is well
grounded in the subject, and the delivery was flawless. The
Tort revision class was a revelation. The lecturer simply
demystified the subject and the strategy for taking Tort exams.
Tony Ikemefuna, LLB, University of London
International Programmes (2011)
|
| I
was really really impressed with the Tort revision seminar.
I found it so helpful and feel much better prepared for my exam.
The lecturer was excellent. Camilla Hart,
ILEX, (2011) |
| The
Tort lecturer was great. She took her time, explained the topics,
used illustrations where needed and presented the topics in
a simple yet thorough way. So I really enjoyed the session.
I would absolutely recommend this seminar to others. Trust was
useful as well. It helped me to identify some of the topics
that I feel more comfortable with and those that I feel less
comfortable with. So now I have a better idea of how to narrow
down my study areas. The lecturer also had a very relaxed teaching
style. He
really did a good job at pulling out the points and connecting
the dots for me. So I would recommend this seminar. Cara
Spann. LLB, Queen Mary University of London (2011)

The
Contract Law seminar was very interesting and useful. The Tutor
went slowly, explained the issues carefully with practical examples,
where she felt it was needed. Every question asked was adequately
explained. I learned how to approach exam questions and structue
answers to contract law questions.
The
Criminal Law Seminar was very interesting and useful. It was
worth the time and money investments, and I will not hesitate
to recommend it to other students. The course notes contain
valuable information, simple and very precise. I will book for
your seminars for the rest of my University of London LLB Programme.
Thanks very much for your hard work and for sharing your knowledge
and experience. Kareem Sule Fuseini, LLB,
University of London International Programmes (External) (2011) |
I
really enjoyed the Criminal Law revision session It cleared
up some areas that had been a bit confusing, especially dishonesty.
I also really liked the extra analysis that put everything into
context.
The Land Law session was so valuable in pulling everything together.
I had found Land Law really hard to grasp when it came to mock
exams because it seemed so bitty. The chart was especially useful.
Equity and Trusts was equally useful. I found the clarity of
the delivery really helpful. Thanks so much. The seminars have
really kicked off my revision well. Karin
Blackwell, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
EU
Law: Fantastic! The lecturer covered the main points within
each topic thoroughly. The revision course was extremely helpful.
Tort
Law: Ms Aquino was simply brilliant in explaining how to apply
concepts of Tort law, in a systematic and logical way to problem
questions, which is really what is required at this stage prior
to the exams. She was thoughtful in provided participants with
a revision checklist for the different topics covered in Tort.
I thoroughly enjoyed the seminar! – Many thanks. Hutokshi

| I
found the Jurisprudence seminar very useful yesterday. Dr Marshall's
lecture and overall style was good for drawing out the knowledge
that I had already gained and showing me how to put it down
on paper. I feel a lot more confident in tackling an exam paper
following yesterday's session. Overall I feel that the session
cemented the knowledge I had and gave good insight to exam technique.
Nicci Hilson, LLB, University of London
International Programmes (External) (2011) |
| I
found the Tort seminar very useful. Tracey explained everything
very clearlyand was sure to repeat areas which are clearly problematic
- some of which I felt had been overlooked or even overcomplicated
by my college course. She was very enthusiastic which made even
the slightly more tedious areas much more interesting and manageable.
It was a fantastic way to build confidence and set me up for
structuring my revision. I would definitely recommend it to
other students studying the GDL. Criminal Law was very useful
for consolidation and helped me to structure my revision. Dayna
Burville, GDL, College of Law

| The
EU Law revision seminar was very useful. It was comprehensive
and easy to follow. It was well worth the money and I will definitely
be attending more seminars in the future.
Camilla Bushill, LLB, University of Surrey (2011) |
| I
received my results yesterday. I got an overall first class
mark and I would like to thank you so much for the revision
courses and all the material that you have provided us with.
I attended the Contract law, Public Law and Criminal law revision
seminars. They were great, and they certainly influenced my
overall exam performance.Sabrina Farhan,
LLB, De Montfort University, (2010) |
| I
found Contract and Tort incredibly helpful. The lectures were
really well structured and exam focused enough to really boost
confidence. Both lecturers were friendly and helpful and gave
a really good insight into how examiners approach marking. Florence
Iveson, GDL, City University (2010) |
| I
found the Tort revision seminar extremely useful. It summarised
well all the major areas and the tutor kept it very interesting
so that the 5 hours just flew by. Eliska
Tomanova, BA Jurisprudence, University of Oxford (2010) |

Criminal Law: I'm still impressed with the large scope of content
covered in a relatively short space of time and how such a broad
range of offences were fitted into the questions covered. In
particular, I appreciated the way we were encouraged to conceptualise
the facts in order to truly identify the issues and ensure that
we were exploring the law and demonstrating knowledge fully.
I'm increasingly confident that applying the principles learnt
at the lecture will result in a better quality of answer on
examination day, not just from increased knowledge (particularly
from additional case authorities) but also from a better structure
(a fact that is vital given the College of Law's 'impression'
marking style). The lecture was an excellent way to kick-start
the otherwise daunting task of revision. Jonathan
Evans, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
| I
found the Contract revision lesson invaluable. Anne Street was
friendly and gave students concise and easy manageable chunks
of the syllabus to use as a tool to revise. The Tort Lecture
was in depth and the tutor clearly had a passion for her subject.
It was great and worth every penny. I would definitely recommend
QED Law Revision. Lisa Lloyd, GDL, College
of Law (2010) |
| I
enjoyed the Land Law seminar and would definitely recommend
it. The lecturer was enthusiastic (which was refreshing considering
Land Law isn't the most riveting subject) and I came away feeling
less daunted as it helped me tie it all in together. The 'table'
has been useful as it has helped me structure my revision a
nd using the framework he provided for answering questions will
no doubt better equip me for the exam. Thank you very much,
Niluka Vitanachy, LLB, University of London
International Programmes (External) (2010) |
| The
Trusts revision seminar was excellent. It clarified a few grey
issues and I now feel confident in taking the exam. I wish I
had known about the revision seminars earlier.

A
big thank you again for providing such brilliant revision seminars!
As a first year student on the London External program I signed
up for a few different revision courses, hoping to find the
best provider to stay with during the coming years. Based on
the quality of the tutors, the informative and helpful supporting
materials and the great value for money, I clearly got the most
out of the QED weekend courses!
I attended all four intermediate seminars and found that the
tutors consolidated a huge amount of information during the
courses. I was able to focus my revision accordingly and had
a much better idea of what would be expected of me during the
exams. I can recommend your revision courses to any law student
and will be sure to be back next year! Rachel
Akodu, LLB, University of London International Programmes (External)

| The
Law of Contract seminar was interesting, helpful and very competently
presented as was the Public Law seminar. It was my pleasure
to attend! Jewel Jones, LLB, University
of London International Programmes (External) (2010) |
| The
Land Law revision seminar was amazing!!! I knew some of the
topics in depth already. However, the seminar really helped
me to connect all the topics together to give me a overview
of Land Law which was coherent! The revision seminars are highly
recommended. Juliet Shelling, LLB, University
of Kent (2010) |
| The
Trusts seminar was very interesting, very informative and precise.
It improved my understanding on how to answer exam questions.
Criminal Law: I really enjoyed this seminar, really useful!
I liked the layout, presentation and the exam tips were fantastic,
Rajinder Kaur, LLB, University of Leicester (2010) |
| I

GDL, BPP Law School (2010) |
| I
found the Tort seminar extremely helpful. I would recommend
it. No doubt about it. Katy Sellars, BA
(Law and Business) University of Lincoln (2010) |
| The
Trusts and Land Law seminars were both fantastic. They were
brilliantly tailored to fit very concise overviews of the subjects,
yet also providing a very clear layout and guide to approaching
exam questions. The material provided was also really good.
The lecture notes for both seminars are very clear and a very
handy addition to my own revision notes. Working through questions
in the seminars really helped focus on each of the different
areas. I'm much more confident about the exams now thanks to
the revision classes, and I'm very grateful you managed to fit
me into the land seminar when I booked so late. If only I had
done these revision classes when I first started my degree!
Gemma Bishop, LLB, UEA (2010) |
| I
really appreciated the Contract seminar and learnt a lot from
it. Thanks! Anon, GDL, City University
(2010) |
| Just
a short note to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the EU and Criminal
Law revision sessions. They were well paced and gave me greater
insight into what I need to do to successfully pass my examinations.
Jerry Hutchinson, GDL, Northumbria University

| I
attended lectures in Contract, Tort and Trust. I found all three
very useful and I am using the notes and exam tips made from
all three seminars as the core of my study regime. Natalie

| The
Trusts seminar was very very very useful. I had done almost
all of my revision for Trusts, so having it consolidated and
reaffirmed was very reassuring and I certainly feel I have a
better understanding. I thought Ramjohn was a very clear lecturer.
John Gilmour, LLB, Cardiff University (2010) |
| Land
Law: I thought the Land revision was really helpful. I liked
the way in which the lecturer showed us ways in which we could
structure the question. Trusts: I thought that the Trust seminar
was brilliant! I liked the fact that he picked key exam topics
and showed us handy hints for the exam. Very informative and
productive. The lecturer was also nice and keen to help with
any questions that were asked. It didn't feel rushed at all.
Contract: I really enjoyed the revision workshop for contract.
Fiona Cooke, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
| The
Tort and Contract revision seminars were both very good. I found
them very useful and I've got a better idea how to prepare for
my exams. Thank you for organising them. Andrianna
Kahno, GDL, College of Law (2010) |
| The
Contract law revision seminar on Sunday was excellent. Anne
Street was very good at getting all the information we need
across in an interesting and enjoyable way. She was able to
give the examiner's perspective which was also very helpful.
The afternoon was very productive and enjoyable. Thank you once
again for all your efforts in making these seminars possible.

| I
had my Criminal Law exam on Monday and it seemed to go well,
I really feel like the seminar helped me understand the topic,
but most importantly it helped me understand how to structure
my answers. Eloise Le Santo, LLB, University
of Lincoln (2010) |
| Both
the Land and Tort revision seminars were very useful and were
a perfect supplement to my revision. They made me feel much
more confident approaching my examinations, particularly Tracey
Aquino whose depth of knowledge and teaching style was particularly
impressive. Christopher Foster, LLB, DMU
(2010) |
| I
just wanted to say that I thought the Criminal Law revision
seminar was great! Im finding my revision a lot easier and the
materials you have supplied are brilliant. The revision seminar
definately gave me the push I needed to start my revision and
I feel ready for the exam now! Georgie
Hare, LLB, University of West London (TVU)(2010) |
| The
Tort and Contract seminars and materials provided very, very
useful. Good value for money - would recommend. I was also pleased
with the way everything was organised (venue, tutors, etc).
Anna Tomasik, GDL, BPP (2010) |
| I
attended the Contract, Land and Tort revision sessions and found
them all immensely useful. Alex Rennie
(2010) |
| The
Trusts revision seminar was very helpful and I enjoyed it very
much. It helped me to understand some of the areas of trust
law I had difficulty with it. I really appreciate that I was
able to join the group.Thank you very much. I would rate it
10 out of 10. Zdenka Safarova, LLB, Birkbeck
Collge, University of London (2010) |
Land
Law - The lecturer brought the subject together and helped
provide a "birds eye view" of it which is often
quite difficult to get when you are the studying the individual
topics of land law throughout the year.
Trusts - This was probably the session that helped me the
most. Prior to it I had not begun my revision for equity and
it was a subject that I was perhaps dreading the most. Although
the courses are essentially to supplement revision you have
already done, it really did help break me into the subject
and I went into my revision with a lot more confidence than
I would have otherwise.
Contract - I thought the session was excellent - in particular
the way that Hilary was so receptive to focussing the session
on what the students wished to concentrate on. The key issues
were explained clearly which made the subject matter all the
more accessible. It was so useful to be given suggestions
on how to approach an exam question.
Tort - Tracey was excellent. Again she helped put the subject
(and in particular the tort of negligence) into perspective.
What I thought was great was that she gave out her email address
at the beginning and said that anyone was welcome to email
her with questions etc and that she would get back to QED
students as a matter of priority. I took her up on this offer
the night before my exam in a bit of a panic (not really expecting
a reply at such short notice) and I had a highly detailed
email back at 8am the next day!
Crime - The criminal law session was equally excellent. Two
things stand out in particular. Firstly, the way that you
explained issues by analogy, which just made the topic easier
to grasp. And secondly, the defences flow chart towards the
end. I had never thought of it like that before and often
got confused when trying to get to grips with voluntary/involuntary
intoxication etc.
General: All in all I though the sessions were great and well
worth the money. I would definitely recommend the courses
to any law student. Alasdair Hall, GDL,
Plymouth University (2009) |
| Thank you so much for yesterdays lectures. I found them both to be extremely helpful - enhancing my overall understanding, and a great contribution to my revision. I am very pleased I made the effort to come back for them! Annabel Bowen-Hopkins, LLB, Newcastle University (2009) |

| The
Criminal Law seminar was a very helpful revision session and
I will personally recommend it to the next year’s GDL
students. In fact, your method of teaching is outstanding and
the session exceeded my expectations. Clement
Ehijiator, GDL, City University (2009) |
| The
courses I attended; EU, Tort and Land have really helped me
to focus my revision and I am much more confident about sitting
my exams in a few weeks time. I will be back next year. Annemarie
Higgins, GDL p/t, Kingston (2009) |
| I found the Land Revision course very helpful and felt it nicely consolidated my revision so far. Thanks again for the seminar. Ash Menon, LLB, University of Westminster (2009) |
| The revision sessions (Trusts, Tort and EU) were really very useful and added something extra to my individual revision programme. My friends and I thought the lecturers were clear and very approachable in answering any queries we had. The course content itself and the lecturers were brilliant - well worth a trip from Southampton! Clare, LLB University of Southampton (2009) |
| I
really enjoyed a productive day with the Tort revision this
weekend. The lecturer was extremely thorough and related the
questions block by block to the areas of law and cases, which
in essence was much easier to understand and apply. Many thanks
and I look forward to taking advantage of the QED courses next
year. Ashley Shokar, LLB, University of
Kent (2009) |
| The Contract course was particularly good. The tutor had exceptional knowledge. She identified the most important principles and key authorities for revision. Her presentation style made the five hours pass quickly. Martin Brown, GDL, College of Law (2009) |
| I found all the classes very helpful in preparation for my exams and appreciate the quality of instructors, lectures and materials provided. Prof Black-Branch was also excellent at dealing with the CLRI yesterday. Busuyi Aroso, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
Thank you for hosting the QED revision classes. The revision classes were exactly what I needed right before exams to help me put things in focus and solidify my knowledge of Tort and Trust Law.
Tort - Tracy Aquino is a dynamic lecturer. Her guidance and approach towards answering exam questions was invaluable. One of the very best lecturers. Excellent revision, excellent coverage.
Trust – M. Ramjohn is a brilliant lecturer. He provided much needed guidance on tackling difficult topics and issues both in answering problems and essays.
I am so glad I attended and I do look forward to next year’s revision classes. The quality of the lecturers and the materials provided was superb. Again, many thanks for hosting this for us. Liz Cuff, LLB, University of London (2009) |
| I thought the seminars in Land and Tort were very useful. I shall most definitely be back for next year. I really do think the revision seminars last year helped towards my high 2:1. Emily Hayes, LLB, University of Kent (2009) |
I thought the Criminal Law semnar was absolutely fantastic! I feel I learned so much and you explained it in a way that was easy to understand. It was well worth the money and it was very beneficial. Also, the breaks every so often helped me digest the information and kept me alert throughout the seminar.
I also attended the Tort revision course the week before with Tracy Aquino which I was also very impressed with. Claire Byfield, ILEX Professional Higher Diploma in Law, Distance Learning (2009) |
| Thanks once more for the revision seminars. They were exactly what I needed before starting off with my own revision. Clement Ehijiator, GDL, City University (2009) |
| I found the Criminal Law seminar very useful. It was easy to understand and exactly what you need before the exam. I have recommended all my friends to join. I am very impressed by the course materials and additional materials you provided after the seminar. And the way the lecturer conducted the Land Law seminar was perfect. Thank you very much. Regards, Devendra. LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| The Tort seminar was extremely useful. It made a few things that I was unclear on much easier to understand - mainly how to go about answering the exam questions without panicking. Tracey was also very clear and concise in her presentation. Jamie Phillips, LLB, Kings College London (2009) |
| Law of Contract and Tort: Both seminars and tutors were fantastic. It was easy to follow, well structured and illustrated. I will certainly recommend them to my fellow students. Alexandra Poutoux, GDL (p/t), College of Law (2009) |
| I found the Law of Contract seminar very useful for my revision. I shall be attending next year. Rachel Ruiz-Savidge, LLB, Open University (2009) |
| Contract, Crime and Public: I have to say that the seminars were excellent, and I think that many people felt the same. Khandaker Rahman, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| These are the 'missing links' that my university fails to provide. They summarise and bring the different strands within the topics together in a very useful manner which cements a great deal of the material in the mind. It was a worthwhile use of the time, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who does not feel 100% on top of their game. Rhys Hopkins, GDL, City University (2009) |
| I found the Contract Law session very useful. It was very clearly taught and has increased my confidence in the subject. Sarah Newton, GDL, University of Plymouth (2009) |
| I really enjoyed the Trusts seminar. The lecturer was very interesting and we managed to cover quite a few issues. Thank you so much. Lana Konyukhova, LLB, University of Westminster (2009) |

| The QED Revision lectures were excellent. I attended EU, Land, Tort and Trusts. The tutors were all very knowledgeable, current in their analysis and dealt with students' queries and problems very well. I felt through all the sessions that the tutors had a real desire to help us and had an excellent grasp on common problems for students within each syllabus. They approached the subjects from the point of view of what's important for the exam itself. This was very refreshing and much needed. Val Crawford, LLB, University of London (2009) |
| The class on EU was fantastic. The lecturer tackled the topic from a practical, real life perspective and everyone was very keen to hear his analyisis. When I did the exam itself, a lot of what he had discussed came up on the paper - this off course was true of the other tutors too. Val Crawford, LLB, University of London (2009) |
| As an University of London External Student, I felt that the analytical, tutorial style approach to the subjects was very effective during the QED sessions. I know that many of my peers agree with me when I say that on the whole the QED lectures are more useful than the University of London weekend classes. They were very well organised and well worth the money. Val Crawford, LLB, University of London (2009) |
| Thank you for your power packed revision on Criminal Law. It was very refreshing getting exposed to a mature perspective on some of the major topics and issues underpinning criminal law, as well as some exam techniques other than the ones back at my Law School. Vasileios Klianis, LLB, University of Kent (2009) |
| The Criminal Law revision seminar was really very helpful. The explanation of the difficult points was clear, always getting to the core of the issues without losing sight of the big picture. One of the aspects I like of your class is that you are very sensitive to students needs and it shows in the way you address the topics. In short, learning doesn't stop at revision time, there is always an opportunity to capture some new aspect in a different light and to add some colour to a grey area... this is the healthy balance that your course brings about. Thanks! Vicky Rebori, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| I am very pleased that I was able to attend these seminars. They are of great benefit to students. Victoria Dinham, GDL, BPP Law School (2009) |
| The Contract revision was excellent. The lecture was very clear and useful and I will recommend the course. Vicky Rebori, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
| I attended the recent Contract and Crime revision seminars. Both sessions were very good, and worth the trip from Plymouth! Zhanna Tomashevskaya, GDL, University of Plymouth (2009) |
| I am so happy I took the time out to attend these seminars (Criminal law, Land law and Trusts). I have learnt so much.Thank you for putting together these revision materials and seminars. I have recommended them to other students to try and attend next year. Pat Wisdom, LLB, University of London (External) (2009) |
The seminar on Land Law was, to use a contemporary expression 'awesome'. The lecturer brought a huge amount of energy into the topic and I will be recommending the seminar to anyone who will listen. It was by far the most productive hours spent on land law this whole year. Brian Putman, LLB, Oxford Brookes, (2008) |
I found both courses - Law of Contract and Public Law - very helpful. Many thanks for a very worthwhile weekend and all your assistance. Ian Bethell Bennet, LLB, University of London External (2008) |
The seminar was a great help in tying loose ends and giving important pointers about exam technique. I was a bit sceptical about attending a revision session outside my college but it was worth it - especially because it offered a new perspective. Camelia Burn, GDL, College of Law (2008) |
I found the Trusts seminar really helpful and the lecturer was good at responding to any questions. It clarified areas that I was having problems with and was very beneficial. The accompanying lecture notes were really good and helped point out some main judgements. I also found the Criminal Law seminar really helpful. I understand most of the law relating to this area but was having problems applying the information. I found the seminar helped at a lot in this area - in providing clarity in what we should be aiming to do when answering problem questions. The handout accompanying the lecture was similarly helpful. Gemma Haley, GDL, BPP Law School, (2008) |
I will recommend the seminars to others as I found them very useful and helpful. The lecturers were very clear, easy to understand and easy to approach. I am extremely pleased I decided to attend them and they have made me feel more confident about the exams! I will definitely be coming back again next year. Caroline Brooker, LLB, University of Kent (2008) |
| "I just wanted to drop a note to say how grateful I was for the revision courses on Land Law and Equity & Trusts. Undertaking my law degree through the Open University, which starts in February each year, meant that the revision courses were early in the course, but hugely useful. I ended up with a distinction for the year which I would not have done otherwise, and a 2:1 which was fantastic. Thank you for making the subjects interesting and actually enjoyable." Marion Shipman, LLB, Open University |
The
Criminal seminar last Sunday was really fantastic. The class
was very informative and I would without hesitation recommend
it. Atik Kitani, GDL, City University
(2008) |
I found the Criminal Law seminar to be presented in a clear, coherent and organised way. The lecturer did a brilliant job condensing down the most relevant issues and conveying them to us in such a short amount of time. Providing us with additional materials was an added bonus and helpful with revision. I would highly recommend the seminar. Heidi Cook, LLB, University of London External (2008) |
The Tort lecture was excellent. Extemely useful information on exam technique, it gave me much more confidence on how to tackle questions. Very clear and detailed notes too. EU was also excellent. It was so refreshing to have EU Law delivered in such a coherent manner! Trusts was a fantastic lecture with extremely useful exam technique and advice. It was very clear and well worth attending. Many thanks for organising the lectures, I will recommend them to friends. Jane McGarrell, LLB, UEA (2008) |

"I found the Law of Trusts seminar extremely useful. As a student with the OU, we only started this subject in February, and as such some of the topics were new to me. The tutor, nevertheless, guided us through the more difficult parts extremely well and made the concepts easier to digest. It was very much based on going through the questions, but he also went into more detail than the question required to give us a thorough understanding of the topic. I would recommend this course to anyone, whether they are nearing exams or not.
In relation to the tutor, he was enthusiastic about this subject and I found this contagious!
I also liked the idea of getting the notes to read through before the course and I'm sure I will be using these as a referencing tool during the rest of my course." Nia Thomas, LLB, Open University (2007) |
The Trusts seminar was fantastic, very informative and the lecturer was very approachable. Lucy McEntaggart, LLB, University of Kent (2008) |
The revision seminars were extremely useful and they helped consolidate the year's work into manageable revision blocks. Diane Jackson, LLB, Birkbeck College (2008) |
The Tort session was outstanding! It was clear that Ms Aquino knew her stuff and delivered it superbly. She remained really focused and presented the information in a really helpful way that I'm sure will improve my marks at exam. Best money I've ever spent! Jane Miles, GDL, Oxford Brookes University (2008) |
I found both the Contract and Criminal sessions to be exactly what I was hoping that they would be. The topics covered were well chosen and delivered at the right pace for me. It was money well spent. John Thorburn, Senior Status LLB (Hons), Teesside University (2008) |
I'd just like to drop some feedback about this year's revision seminars. I felt that your Criminal Law lecture was exceptionally useful - in particular, that run down of s. 47, s. 18 and s.20 offences plus the various burglary - related offences was very clear and I could remember it well during the exam. The CLRI and Public law lectures by Adam were also good. I'm pleased with my exam results for these subjects - a big thanks to you and Adam for brilliant lectures. Karin Kuhlemann, LLB, University of London (External) (2008)
|
The seminars were all geared toward what I was looking for. It can be unnerving to approach all of the GDL exams and not know exactly what's expected in the exam, so hearing directly from experienced examiners really helped. It was especially helpful going to another source and getting another perspective on the issues. I do thank you very much for offering the seminars and for calming my nerves! In terms of venue, time, etc., I found them to be very well organized, and the location was central, very easy to get to. I will recommend the seminars to anyone interested in this valuable exam preparation! Erica Griebel, GDL, City University (2008) |
I found the contract revision material and lecture very helpful. Shereen Hafeez, GDL, University of Westminster (2008)
|
The seminars were all excellent and I would indeed highly recommend them. A, GDL, College of Law (2008)
|
I found the Public Law Seminar to be very useful and would certainly recommend it. Steven Brading , LLB, University of London External (2008)
|
The Criminal law seminar was fantastic. It really helped to pull the whole syllabus together just before the exam and allowed one to get a "birds eye view" of the rather large body of work - something which is sometimes difficult when one is stuck in the detail. Miles Turner, LLB, University of London External (2008)
|
"The Land revision seminar was extremely useful. It helped to clarify particularly difficult areas and also gave excellent exam tips. The revision materials and example questions were really useful. The same applies to the Trusts seminar. I would recommend the course to anyone. " Jenny Hawrot, LLB, University of Brunel (2007) |
I would certainly recommend the seminars (and I have done so!). They are helpful and provide one with that last minute insight in how to actually structure the exam script. Thank you for organising them! Fizza Kadiwal, LLB, University of London (External) (2008) |
Both the Land and Contract seminars were very helpful and mad everything much clearer than the numerous revision books I've been purchasing this summer ! Lauren Marett, LLB for Graduates, University of Birmingham (2007) |

The revision seminars for Law of Tort and Law of Contract were excellent. I intend to use the materials and recorded lectures to revise for my exam in October instead of my Open University manuals. I would recommend the seminars to all law students. Cherie Hill, LLB, Open University (2007) |
"Tort
was truly wonderful. I wish the lecturer had been a tutor
at my College. We covered a terrific amount of material and
she gave us a framework for answering any question.Contract
was great, excellent on the cases and very helpful on exam
technique and the lecturer for Trusts was superb. These weekends
have been worth every penny, made me inspired to get on with
my own revision and confident that I do know the subjects."
Anne Mannion, GDL, College of Law (2007)

Tracey Aquino had a fantastic delivery, and it was clear from the ease with which she clarified and explained the controversies of tort law, that she has had many years of teaching experience. This enabled her to transfer her knowledge in the most effective and student-friendly manner. I certainly gained a sense of confidence and a fresh outlook as to how to approach problem questions in exams. Thank you for such a great opportunity! Alexandra Bamban, LLB, University of Surrey (2007) |
"The Criminal Law revision seminar was excellent. The way that it was taught was very impressive and the materials are very useful. The Contract seminar tutor was excellent and the materials were also very useful." Jenny Leung, LLB, University of London (External) (2007) |
"The revision sessions in Tort, EU and Law of Trusts were fantastic. I've genuinely never been taught in such a coherent manner." Suzanne El Hawary, LLB, UEA (2007) |
I thought the Public Law seminar was really valuable. It certainly helped me in my exam a few days later. Best £50 I ever spent ! John Vanston-Rumney. LLB, Birkbeck College, University of London (2007) |
Trust revision was of the highest order. As promised, it was on examination technique and seminar discussion on how to deal with questions, build our confidence to convert knowledge into marks. KM Thye, LLB, University of London External (2007) |
"The Criminal law seminar was very good indeed. The lecturer was excellent. I would be pleased to recommend any of my acquaintances to attend." Stuart Dixon, LLB, Birkbeck College, University of London (2007) |
The Law of Tort seminar was very useful. I really liked the lecturer's approach and style; it was very down to earth and practical - you could tell she'd taught lots of students. She taught us how to approach a tort problem step by step in a very clear and logical way. It was all very well structured and accessible and the hand out was very comprehensive. Brenda Gvozdanovic, GDL, Nottingham Trent University (2007) |
| "The courses - Land and Contract - were great, well structured and really helped bring everything together. Would definitely recommend to others." Saiqa Ashraf, ILEX, University of Wales (2007) |
Thank you for providing an excellent Criminal revision seminar last Saturday morning. The materials were great and the questions provided will be very useful for revision. The Land Law session was good. It was very useful to have the syllabus presented in a diagrammatical format. Shadia Anderson, GDL, College of Law (2007) |
| "The Equity & Trusts course was excellent revision and really helped to clarify the difficult concepts in this area. Being taught how to answer examination questions was also really helpful. I came away from the course feeling that the rather daunting subject of Equity & Trusts was actually rather manageable and I would highly recommend the course" Katie Harrison, LLB, Exeter University (2007) |
| I found the lecture really helpful, easy to follow and enlightening. I feel a lot more confiedent about the subject and not so worried about the exam. The lecture is very knowledgable and approachable. I now understand trusts a lot better and know what the examiners are looking for. Georgina Patrick LLB, Nottingham Trent University. (2007) |

seminars gave me an insight on how to actually write an examination
paper, up to date coverage of the law, and finally, a refreshing
enthusiasm. I am sure they contributed towards my 2:1."
Islay Robinson, LLB, University of London

| "At the start of the courses I felt a million miles away from the subject and by the end, I felt that I knew where I was going and what I had to do in order to cope with the exams. The courses were brilliant; energetic and focused and got me on the right track. I definitely plan to take advantage of this year's courses as well." Joanie Solaini, LLB, Southampton University |

| "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the brilliant revision classes you held this year for Equity and Trusts and last year for Land Law and EU. I have just achieved a 2:1 and I am so thankful that I had the chance to attend your seminars. They certainly helped me to achieve the grade. " Kellie Steadman, LLB, University of Westminster |
| "Thanks again for organising the seminars - I found the three I attended ( Criminal Law, Law of Trusts and Land ) extremely worthwhile and excellent value for money." Deborah Mayo, GDL, College of Law |
| "I found the revision course for Criminal Law immensely helpful. It helped me understand what examiners are looking for. The tutors are extremely knowledgeable (obviously) and they teach the subject to you in such a way that you can actually retain, in that overcrowded brain of yours, whole tranches of the subject weeks later rather than forgetting everything the next day!" Matthew Lawrence, LLB, Open University |
| "The
revision courses gave me so much more confidence when it came
to my exams. They provided a much welcomed overview of the core
subjects before I began my revision and helped to provide much
more of a structure to my knowledge. The courses focused my
mind and highlighted those areas which needed the most revision.
It was useful to have a different perspective on each subject
from that which I had had from my own tutors during the GDL."
Sophie Albinson, GDL, City University |
| "I
was very impressed. It was great to be told HOW to answer questions
- something that no-one has bothered to tell us. I really appeciated
being taken through the answers step-by-step. Excellent!"
Carol Thompson,LLB, King's College London |
| "I found the Land Law revision seminar extremely helpful and excellent value for money. The tutor brought precision and clarity to an otherwise fragmented picture. would like to express my thanks for the revision courses, they
were excellent and it will certainly stand me in good stead

| "Thank
you very much for your guidance last Sunday. (EU) I had my exam
the following wednesday and I think I was the only person that
came out pretty much skipping. The seminar was excellent. It
set me on my path for last minute revision and gave me a structure
on what was expected of me in exam questions It was also really
good to receive tuition from someone different and I will definitely
be taking advantage of the courses next year. Thank you again
Kind regards " Victoria Boast, LLB,
University of Surrey in Guildford |
| "I
found the guidance on how to approach the questions in an exam
really worthwhile... All in all, I feel much more confident
about answering the questions for Criminal Law and it is reassuring
to know I have the notes from the class to refer to leading
up to the exam. Well worth the time and money! Many thanks."
Joanna Brown, LLB,University of Sussex |
| "I found the Criminal Law revision seminar excellent. The tutor was very good and he provided me with a better focus how to prepare for exams. The law of Trusts teacher was also very good, and we covered a lot. " Jasmin Crilly, GDL, BPP |
| "I found the Criminal Law revision session very useful, especially in terms of the correct structure of answers, which I had been struggling with previously. I found that in the Criminal, Tort and Trusts seminars the information was concise and helpfully presented, particularly as to how to approach problem questions. Thanks also to all the lecturers who seemed happy to stay late and answer questions when they must all have been pretty tired! I will definitely be booking courses/getting lawinabox titles etc. next year if any of my third year electives are covered... I've literally just taken my Criminal law exam and, thanks to the course, felt completely confident... See you next year!" Eleanor M, Newcastle University |
| "Without the fantastic in depth tutoring I received prior to my exams I would not have passed my LLB Law exams nor gained my training contract ". John O'Donnell, LLB, University of Essex |
| "I
would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for your
time and consideration in relation to the Criminal Law revision
seminar. I found the seminar most informative and helpful for
my course of revision. The seminar also helped to relieve some
of the anxiety that I've had preparing for my exams." Edith
Stuart, LLB, Birkbeck College, University of London |
| "I
am studying with the University of London External programme,
and am independent. I do not attend any university, so these
lectures were SO important to me. In previous years, I have
attended the University of London’s revision courses.
I found your format so much more beneficial than the two hour
format offered with the UoL. The Tort revision seminar proved
to be (by far) the most beneficial lecture that I have attended
during my 3 years of study. I found the lecturer's style and
delivery excellent, and her revision technique has enabled me
to consolidate and revise in a more relaxed way. Best money
I have spent. Many thanks." Jane

found the Tort seminar extremely useful. The lecturer was excellent
and made everything incredibly simple to follow." Katie

thought yesterday's seminar in Criminal Law was terrific. Admittedly
Criminal is my preferred subject but, that aside, yesterday’s
lecture flew by, and was most useful." Barry
