Introduction
There are a number of reasons law students perform below their potential in coursework and examinations. In addition to difficulties with understanding some of the more complex rules and principles of law, many students are uncertain about what their examiners are looking for.
The QED Law revision lectures will address these issues. The most important topics in each subject area will be explained and effective methods of answering law questions will be demonstrated.
"I will certainly recommend these seminars to fellow students for next year. They have been invaluable." Angela Dack, LLB, University of Essex [Public Law, Law of Contract, Criminal Law and Land Law] |
The revision lectures are for students on LLB, GDL / CPE and ILEX courses who require:
-
clarification of the key issues and most frequently examined topics in the core law subjects
-
advice on technique in answering problem questions in law exams
-
guidance as to what examiners are looking for
| "The revision seminar was the perfect complement to the final stages of exam preparation. I think we all emerged ready to tackle our revision with increased confidence and enthusiasm. I thoroughly recommend it." Simon Ramsden, GDL, BPP Law School |

"I found the revision course for Criminal Law immensely helpful. It helped me understand what examiners are looking for. The tutors are extremely knowledgeable (obviously) and they teach the subject to you in such a way that you can actually retain, in that overcrowded brain of yours, whole tranches of the subject weeks later rather than forgetting everything the next day!"
