The tables show, for each of the routes and schemes,  the number of students who were awarded first class honours, upper second class honours, lower second class honours, third class honours, pass degree or other award. In addition the table shows the number of students who failed to pass or to whom no award was made and those who were absent or retired. The number of students in each category is also shown as a percentage of the total number registered on the scheme or route.

The University kindly provided the information from which the data below has been extracted. Please note that the statistics relate to candidates sitting LLB, Diploma in Law or Diploma in the Common Law examinations under both old and revised regulations.

It is perhaps not surprising that UK and CI based students should score relatively well in the Public Law exams but what is perhaps surprising is the performance of candidates in some of the other subjects.

UK & CI is part of the University’s  Zone A. In the table below the pass rates ( a mark of 40 or above) of candidates in the UK and Channel Islands are compared to those of Zone A candidates as a whole and those of candidates in Zone B. The Zonal information was provided by the University in response to an earlier FOI request.
