Pass rates: 1997/8 – 2007/8
QED LAW has published information about the pass rates on the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) / Common Professional Examination (CPE), Legal Practice Course (LPC) and Bar Vocational Course (BVC) at each of the course providers.
The information concerns full time GDL, LPC and/or BVC in the academic year 2007/8. Where available, information relating to 1997/8 has also been provided.
The GDL and LPC tables show the percentage of students awarded a ‘distinction’, ‘commendation’ or pass at the first attempt. The equivalent BVC classifications are ‘outstanding’, ‘very competent’ and ‘competent’.
In addition the percentage failing / failing to complete the course at the first attempt is given. It should be remembered that this latter figure includes not only those who failed outright, but also those entitled to resit their exams, those who deferred their exams and those who for any other reason did not qualify for an award on the basis of their first attempt..
NB. Some information is still awaited. To be notified by email when it is published please register for QED LAW updates by clicking here..
